Thank you Dave for the tip off of the UK documentary series on Classic fm. Well done Hayley, Prime personal recording systems! I so often miss a Hayley interview.

I heard this announcement today too. I enjoyed the comment that Hayley has "probably the purest voice in the world" !! Barrie

Hi all, made anybody a recording? My recording (mp3) is 51,6 MB and has a lot but very very short "drop outs" because today I had 40 kbit/s only. Please could somebody post the whole list of songs. I was late to copy the whole list from classic fm page. I think very intersting was Thais - meditation by Jules Massenet - and Hayley of course with a nice version of "Pokarekare Ana" at the beginning. Greetings, Lothar

Hi all, made anybody a recording? Greetings, Lothar Yes Sir, indeed I did! I have uploaded an edited version of the hour long show, including all the speech and interview except for advertisements, all of Pokarekare Ana (Classic FM acoustic guitar 2003 version!) and the first 30 to 60 seconds of all the album tracks chosen by Hayley and played in the show. Apart from Pokarekare Ana, they are only short samples of the other tracks because they are commercial recordings and there could be copyright problems if Simon or Gerrit decide to make my recording available permanently. I would be very surprised indeed if what I have done causes any copyright problems (not even for The Choirboys, who I cut down to a minimal 30 second clip!). This short version here is 20 minutes long, 7MB filesize, 48kbps and considering that, I have to say, the audio quality is rather good ( now uploaded to HWI.net by Gerrit!)! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif If anyone feels the urge to listen to the complete version (it's nearly 3 times longer and bigger), let me know and I'll see what I can do. I noticed particularly that Hayley said she can't wait to record her next album! Go for it Hayley... neither can we!!! The complete list of songs played is: Hayley - Pokarekare Ana (Classic FM acoustic guitar version, 2003) Chamber Orchestra of Europe - Mozart - Ave Verum Corpus K.618 London Sinfonietta - Gorecki - Symphony No.3 Opus 36 (2) Jose Carreras - Lara - Granada Bryn Terfel - Traditional - Shenandoah The Choirboys - Goodall - Ecce Homo (Mr Bean theme) Maxim Vengerov (violin) - Massenet - Thais, meditation Victoria de los Angeles - Villa-Lobos - Bachianas Brasileiras No.5 (1) Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave, at first I want to say: I think it is absolutely o.k. to respect the copyrights ... I made a trail for myself only ...the WAV-file was about 570 MB Greetings, Lothar

Brilliant editing Dave! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI listened to the whole programme on Friday evening and I really enjoyed Hayley's chat. Just to clarify something that came up in the interview, 27th January 2006 is the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth, according to my Boosey & Hawkes Music Diary. I'm sure we all spotted the other little error. "Pure" rewrote the record books in 2003, which was two years ago when the show was transmitted. Time flies when you're having fun! Happy New Year everybody! Richard

I've dowloaded the file, Dave, and will try to make it available from a permanent link soon. Currently though, things are so busy, I just don't get around to certain things ...
