Wow, I just heard the song -- someone's made a video to it on Youtube. It's fantastic! I think that this song could do very well indeed on the pop charts if a decent effort was made to promote it in all the right ways. Double thumbs up from me and I think Hayley sounds just wonderful! Ha, ha -- you can tell I'm excited!

Libby and anyone else that is outside the UK that wants to download this song: you can download it at 7digital if you pay with PayPal. If you pay with a credit card you have to live in the UK, but it lets you change the country if you pay with PayPal.

Does anyone know if there's an actual chance their duet might be released as a single? Is Lee Mead the type of artist that does release singles? I'm completely in love with this song and I think it just might be the perfect way for Hayley to tip toe over into the pop world for a little while! It might be good to get the ball rolling before her next international album -- especially if that's to be a more pop collection of songs (as all things seem to be indicating).

Okay, I'll check that out. However, Paypal sent me something recently saying there was a problem with my account. I did what they said to fix it, but then they sent me the same e-mail.

A little off subject, but Libby be careful with those PayPal e-mails. It is likely they are not from PayPal. My sister got one of those from eBay, followed the directions, and someone stole her identity. You are probably already aware, but just wanted to drop a note just in case.

I had the same Email purporting to be from PayPal and I did what it asked but something didn't seem right. In the end, I Emailed PayPal direct who confirmed that it had not come from them and that I should change my password and log in details immediately, which I did. In future, forward any such Email to PayPal and don't respond to it. If you haven't already done so, change your password to be on the safe side. Best wishes Grant

I bought the song last night. It isn't too bad. I also bought The Choirboy's "Do You Hear What I Hear" song as well.

That Lee Mead was a finalist on the program "Any Dream Will Do" - airing right now on BBC America I'm sure his duets with Hayley are brilliant ! Joe

Well, too bad I didn't read this earlier, because I did have to close my credit account. Nope, I wasn't aware, I'm ignorant. Fortunately, my bank blocked the charges made to my card, and I wasn't charged. I just have to get a new card, but for now, I'm cardless. I heard the song, and I like it, but I think I'll just keep the youtube link in Favorites for now. I'm not sure if I want to use Paypal anymore. By the way, I did contact Paypal about the message, because I got the same message again. They never responded, however! Very nice of them!

Hi Libby.
Very sorry you had a bad experience but glad it did not cause you any financial harm. NO! you are NOT ignorant. In a place like this and occasionally elsewhere you feel happy communicating with people and it can cause you to inadvertently let your guard down when elsewhere.

I thought that I'd never bother with Lee Mead, but I saw it in the Library and thought, since it was free, I might as well give it a listen. I had low expectations but was pleasently surprised. I really quite like this album and love all of the new songs. Loved it even more when 'Time To Say Goodbye' turned out not to be that Time To Say Goodbye! I also was not expecting Hayley to crop up. I had previously read she recorded with him, but she's not credited on the tracklist, so I assumed it didn't work out or must have been another album. They sound really good together.
Love the cover of 'Drops of Jupiter'. XD And what a lovely recording voice he has. I was quite taken aback by it all. <3

Look what I got today! I really like the album overall, but this has to be (in my opinion) one of the best duets Hayley's ever done. Maybe not the best (I always leave that place open), but it's definitely up there in my opinion. -Taylor

Hi Taylor,
I agree - I love 'When the Stars Go Blue'.
Here's a video of Hayley and Lee performing it Live.
I'd like to hear Hayley do more songs like this. Although I think this performance could have benefited from Hayley and Lee not using the upright microphone stands and facing each other.
The best 'acting' Hayley has ever done with a duet partner would have to be with Jonathan Ansell. They are extremely good together - Jonathan has always succeeded in taking Hayley to another level - both vocally and emotively. Perhaps they just click as duet partners and she draws confidence from him. I really wish I had been able to see their Valentines Tour.
Oh and there is that duet with Rhydian...
