Hello everyone, Lee Mead's new album "Nothing Else Matters", on which Hayley sings a duet with him, was released yesterday and was placed at no. 26 in the main album chart "midweeks" for Monday. Information from Music Week. So Hayley's going to be back in the pop chart on Sunday! Cheers, Dave

Just got the album, and i'm very happy with it. Never paid attention to Lee, but when he appeared with Hayley on stage, i became interested. Listening to his album, makes me think of Ronan Keating. The duet with Hayley is simply Fantastic !! It made me think about Sheperd's bush concert......Poppy Hayley.........and she is doing this very good !!! .....and yes i agree, the song When the stars go blue, is a good song to relaese as a single!

Is there anywhere we can hear a clip of the song? I'd love to hear the song. I'll have to check out Lee's album, and maybe if I like the rest of it, I'll just buy it. Still, I'd like to hear a bit of the duet first.

Very interesting, Libby. Thank you for that. If Hayley is prepared to sing with him then he needs to be taken seriously, perhaps an alternative to Ansell for her? Peter S.

I agree with Richard. While 'When the Stars Go Blue' sounds nice, I still hope that Hayley continues to sing with Jonathan.

Hi Richard,
Yes the clip sounds nice, far more Hayley than Lee though! I'm tempted just to download that track - I don't want to have to buy the whole album to get it.

There appears to be a problem with the site. I could not get any taster clips and some reviews were complaining they had paid their money and not got any downloads Graham

I was able to listen to it. It's okay, but I'm not devastated that I can't download it (I'm not a UK resident, so I can't). I much preferred them singing All I Ask of You together. I agree with Richard. While 'When the Stars Go Blue' sounds nice, I still hope that Hayley continues to sing with Jonathan. Is she only allowed one duet partner at a time? She can still sing with Jonathan, but you can't expect her to sing with him for the rest of her life and never anybody else. Think of it this way: fans of Lee Mead will discover Hayley, and hopefully buy her albums. That's what has happened with Jonathan's fans since the duets and tour, hasn't it? Every little bit helps, you know.

Hello Libby! I agree that many Lee Mead fans will now discover Hayley, but I can't see the reverse happening. I will only buy this duet if it appears on a future compilation album of Hayley's. Richard

I do not mean that Hayley can only sing with Jonathan, but, right now, Jonathan seems to be the main duet partner and I hope that it does not change to Lee being the main duet partner.

I agree that many Lee Mead fans will now discover Hayley, but I can't see the reverse happening. I do agree with this. Hayley's voice is far more extraordinary and special. I can't download the song since only UK residents can; I would if I could, just so I could hear the whole thing. But I do not want to buy Lee's album. Like you, I'll wait to see if there's a better way to hear it. Northern Lights, she and Lee probably won't duet much more than they have unless they are planning to tour together. Maybe they'll sing the song together on a talk show, but I doubt they'll do anymore than that, if they even do that.
