I am beginning to get very excited about this CD now, especially as we have from two sources, a suggestion that it will also contain a DVD! PS: I wonder why Hayley sings Japanese songs so often. There are possibly a number of reasons. One must certainly be her popularity in Japan and her desire to please Japanese people. I also think she loves to sing Japanese songs and, from those I've heard already, I love to hear her sing Japanese songs too!  By the way, your English is excellent Maya! Best wishes Grant |

maya PS: I wonder why Hayley sings Japanese songs so often. I believe Hayley's voice appeals to the Oriental ear more so than maybe to the Caucasian ear . Going on my very limited experience of Oriental music I find Hayley's voice fits in better with their music than lets say a deeper voice, This may explain why she is doing so well there. It may also explain why we have none or almost no members from the African Continent. Different cultures have different definitions of what is beautiful and what is not. They also have very different rhythms in their psyche Long may her success continue there. |

Do you know of any of the songs from their titles? Some of us know of Mother of Mine already, I was wondering if any of the others are well known Jpop songs?

Also, I think I remember her saying in an interview once that she found the Japanese vowel sounds very similar to Maori - so it may be that she also finds singing in Japanese a lot easier than most non-Japanese would - certainly than I would Kind regards Colin |
