The singer /songwriter from Liverpool is certainly worthy of a thread. In my opinion he has written some of the finest ballads of modern time.

THANKS for starting a thread about Charlie Landsborough. To be honest.......i've never heard of him, but was looking on his website, and listened to some songs on You Tube. Looks like Dubliners,Willie Nelson, etc, a real pleasant voice to listen to. I'm sure my husband loves this kind of music, and when today a message came from CD WOW, 12 hours SALE with lots of Charlie Landsborough cd's(some are 2 cd sets) for € 1.99 (£1.75), i couldn't resist to order 4 of them.....btw Free Delivery Greetz JOYCE

Thanks for the response Joyce.Charlie only found true success in later life. He used to be a maths teacher. As you will see he writes much of his own material and his songs have been recorded by many artists including Daniel O`Donnell ,Foster and Allen and Dominic Kirwan.Among my personal favourites are Fireside Dreaming and Heaven Knows.
Hope you enjoy!.

I hope you will enjoy it.There are probably some songs written by him suitable for Hayley to record perhaps What Colour is The Wind?.Most of his own work is quite sentimental.

Well, i just came back from a weekend Birmingham, with my husband, and the highlight was going to the concert, An Evening with Charlie Landsborough. As i told here before, i never heard of him, until Stephen mentioned the name of CharlieLandsborough, a singer/songwriter, so i was looking on You tube for some video's. The first thing that came into my mind.........thats the music my husband likes, so i booked, and to be honest..................my husband and me too, loved the show, and really likes his songs and performance!! After the show, we were lucky, to sign in for a private meeting, and were invited in Charlie's dressing room. He was very pleased to hear we travelled from the Netherlands to see him in Birmingham. I think we will go to another show from his coming autumn tour!! Greetz JOYCE
