Hiya Kris, good to hear from you. That is a very nice site you have there. What a bit of luck we already link to it from our Affiliates scrolly thing! I have just watched your video of 'Somewhere' (twice actually!) which is wonderful. That is New England in the fall, presumably! Go to the Music page of her site and try it, folks! Do you have a tracklisting for the new album yet? By the way, here is a bit of tricia about Kris. She is the fourteenth longest serving member of this forum! You won't find that on her website! Good luck for your plans for 2009 and I look forward to this thread being filled with all sorts of exciting news. Roger

Hello Kris! Your revamped website looks great, although it is slightly too wide for the screens in my Internet Café. I really like the new photographs, so how about putting one of them in your avatar here? Lots of love and best wishes for 2009, Richard xxx

Hey everybody! First, I want to tell you that I have a new sample up on myspace from my CD "Soul of a Nation". www.myspace.com/kristynmurphy (I hope you like it) "Soul of a Nation" is a three song CD I recorded with some of my friends as a special thank you for the our soldiers who are fighting to keep our country safe. There will only be 100 made available to the public, and the rest will be given away to soldiers free of charge. The songs are : American Anthem, Song for the Unsung Hero, and Thinking of You. Richard, I'd love to fix my avatar...but I don't know how!!! :/ Oooh its supper time I'm starving. lol. I have lots of exciting news, but I shall share it all with you a little at a time. God Bless Kris Barefoot Soprano

Dear Kris (BarefootSoprano).
I have been aware of you for some time (you joined 2005) and I have little time for diversions from my main purpose. Today I took the opportunity of diverting to your web site and spending a little time there. My reaction? You are a very attractive young woman with a very great potential and 'yes' yours is probably a voice that stands comparison with Hayley. It is a different type of voice and the extent to which it is your 'natural' voice as opposed to deliberately trained to the type of delivery you give I am unable to comment but it is certainly an 'operatic' voice. It is a voice that seems to have considerable strength and depth and a rich range of colour. I look forward to 'looking out' for further news of your progress.

Very impressive coat of arms, Kris and nice to know you have maintained it. We have one in my brother-in-law's family which they don't use and the right to is now somewhat suspect. In a cousin's family they can claim a Right Honourable Baroness but I don't think she bothered to register a coat of arms when her title was created. I suppose, if you have a seat in the House of Lords, why worry about the flummery. The place is awesome enough in itself. It is an absolutely incredible place in which to work. I discovered that the 'bar' (to which barrister's are called when appointed QCs (Queen's Counsellors) is very mundane and looks rather like a portable cattle pen you might see on a farm but is solid silver! You won't find any like that on a farm! Matters are changing greatly and the seemingly ham-fisted way it is being done is somewhat worrying. So hang on to your coat of arms and keep it in use.
