Hi folks, When I was talking to Steve Abbott, Hayley's manager, at the Hampton Court Festival last Saturday (June 19th), he told me that Hayley will very shortly be recording the songs for the soundtrack to the new Al Pacino film, "The Merchant of Venice". This recording will take place this side of the Atlantic within the next week or two. For those who would like to know more about the film, here is a link to the official movie website: The Merchant of VeniceKeith

My understanding is that the recording took place this side of the Atlantic.
She recorded the "end titles" -- which sounds to me like songs that play at the end, perhaps over the closing credits.
Or could it also mean at both ends, as in the start of the movie and the finish?

Hi Steve,
No. End Titles means the titles which come at the end of the film.
So, Hayley is singing the song at the end.
Keith.

Well, it seems that Hayley's 'Bridal Ballad' from The Merchant of Venice will be a bonus track on the UK re-release of "Pure" next month. That doesn't sound like an end title to me, the marriage occurs in the middle! Let's hope Hayley has recorded more than one song for the film. According to the distributors, Sony Pictures Classics, the film is set for release on 29th December 2004 in New York and LA
