You guys are amazing. You have searched out the story before I get told officially by Hayley's manager. I received notification from him about three hours after your message, Joe. Hayley will also be performing before this year's FA Cup Final (soccer) on May 21st, and will be providing the pre-match entertainment at the All Blacks v British Lions rugby game in Wellington on July 2nd. This will be broadcast on UK TV in the early hours of the morning because of the time difference. Finally, the recording of the new album is almost finished so, Hayley is incredibly busy. I am beginning to get rather excited about this new album. As Violet said in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory "I want it and I want it NOW!!" i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Keith.

Yay, another little ferret - a transatlantic one, too! The thing is, I do a search of the BBC website at least once a week and the press release is dated 10 days ago so I did another search for it today... it's buried on page 2 of the results, after all the 2003 stuff and i'd missed it - so well done Joe! As for the Cup final, well I am a big Man United fan ( and I am originally from Manchester ) so Hayley singing there is perfect - except that I can't get any tickets so the usual 5 seconds of coverage on TV will have to do. I hope Hayley will be singing "Abide with Me" as well as the National Anthem and that as this will be at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, that she won't have to share the limelight with too many lovely lady Welsh singers with names such as Katherine, or Charlotte, or Ho... oh OK, Holly would be OK - just this once! Scrap that... on second thoughts, I want to see the debut performance of "The Three Sopranos" i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hello again everybody! I'll be watching the VE Day concert on TV because I won't be able to get a ticket now. At least I managed to get a ticket for Hampton Court! I'm also going to buy a pair of bicycle clips, although I don't ride a bike. You can't be too careful with all these ferrets about! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifOnly 47 days to Hampton Court!See you there, Richard

Hi all,
I saw the BBC's report about the VE Day celebrations a few days before Hayley's name was added. I was pleased when I learned that Hayley will be participating. I'm hoping that I can listen to some of the BBC's coverage via internet radio.
I'm glad that Man Utd are in the FA Cup Final. I've always liked the Red Devils (sort of like our New York Yakees baseball club who are always in the World Series). United have had a good season. Hope van Nistelrooy's ankle is better by then and there aren't any more suspensions or rows from Fergie. I hope Hayley will sing Nessun Dorma at Old Trafford!
Although today is the day that Hayley was supposed to be in Allentown PA for her concert and I was finally going to meet her in person, I'm pleased that the album is nearing completion! GO Hayleyyy...sorry...there went a ferret running past!

Thanks for that guys,
Good to see that Hayley will be appearing on TV soon. My recorder has'nt had anything to do for a while.
The FA cup final will surely give a great boost to Hayley and help with sales with the DVD, book and the new album.
Good to see Hayley doing the FA cup final. The big wigs must think of her very highly. Also a step up from Katherine Jenkins singing at the Carling cup final.
Finally, i just checked Ebay, 2 tickets for the VE day concert going for £30. Now I just wished I lived in London!!!!! Hope you are reading that Richard....lol.

Thank you Emmett! I'm not paying black market prices for free tickets! I'll settle for watching Hayley in the comfort of my living room. She'll probably only sing one song anyway, then I can switch off and read her biography again! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRoll on Hampton Court... Richard

Hi Richard,
Yeah I think its bad people are selling the tickets, especially in memory of the particular day (VE Day). It seems they must have thought they were going to sell the tickets for big money but all the bids are very low. Just shows were greed gets you.
Good to see you are enjoying the book.

Hello again Emmett! I've had another thought. I would much rather make another donation towards Hayley's wonderful work with UNICEF, and I will if I get the chance at Hampton Court. I'm going home now, Richard

Sorry Dave, looks lke Hayley is going to be joined by one of those lovely Welsh ladies you mentioned. Its Katherine Jenkins. She was on GMTV during the week talking about her US tour, her upcoming performance at the FA Cup Final and also the VE day celebrations on the 8th May.
The last time they joined up was for Wales vs. New Zealand last November.

Thanks for that Emmett, I was being playful though, as I do like Katherine - and they did a great job singing together last year. I guessed that Hayley wouldn't be alone on this occasion, but anyway, the publicity will be good for both of them!

Hello Dave and Emmett! Thinking of football songs, and especially one that's on "My Gift To You", I'm sure Hayley will never walk alone, because we'll always be with her in spirit! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI'd better get this thread back on topic, or Keith will send a ferret up my trousers! Only 8 days to Hayley's appearance in the VE Day concert!Enjoy the Bank Holiday, Richard

Hi folks, I have just had news from Steve about Hayley's appearance at the VE Day Celebration. She will be duetting with heather Small, formerly of M People. This could prove a very interesting blend of voices. Those who know Heather's singing will, no doubt, agree with me on that. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifKeith.

Wow Keith, that could prove to be as great a challenge for Hayley as her hip-hopping with Scribe & Co at the NZ Music Awards last year! Or a challenge for Heather, if it's classical. I bet Hayley handles it just fine but it will be interesting, to say the least! It's always fascinating to see Hayley's occasional forays into the pop world. For those who are interested and who don't know, I've put up Heather's three songs from the Tsunami Appeal Concert earlier this year, on my personal webpages (audio links below). This is for a limited time only - so if you want them, save the files (all under 2 MB). Proud - Search for the Hero - One Night in Heaven i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hello everybody! This could be a very interesting duet, and I'm sure Hayley will handle it with her usual enthusiasm and professionalism. It will be a pity if she doesn't sing a solo though! Don't forget to watch BBC1 at 8pm on Sunday 8th May, or set your video recorder today! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBye for now, Richard
