Hayley in Germany

Hayley is to perform three concerts in Germany. At the moment, we have no actual venues, only the dates and cities. They are:

October 12th - Munich
October 13th - Berlin
October 15th - Hamburg

Many thanks to Gerrit, who brought this information back with him following his trip to Munich to see Hayley on 6th September.

Hayley is to appear on ZDF at 20:15 on Sunday 17th October in the Star Gala for World Hunger Aid.

She will also guest on ProSieben with Stefan Raab on Monday 18th October at 22:15... or is it the 19th October? (Hayley's German site tickertape says the 19th and differs from its own news page!).

With this on top of Hayley's 3 concerts in Germany this week, let's hope it soon gives Pure a shove back into the German charts (Gerrit please correct any mistranslation - from Hayley's German website!)

Hi Dave,

I was aware of the ProSieben appearance, unfortunately I have at this stage been unable to find any info about the correct date. All I know is that ProSieben isn't within my reach.

Fortunately, ZDF is within my reach, and my VCR will be ready!

PS funny to think that as I am writing this, Hayley is performing in Hamburg, just 400 km away from me.

I just couldn't fit in attending that concert with my personal schedule though .

Hayley is on german TV "ProSieben" on Oct, 18th at 22:20 h.

Last Wednesday was a Heyley Westenra Concert in Berlin.

It was a great pleasure for me to listen Hayley life in a church. She was singing a lot of songs from her new CD “pure”. It was absolutely fantastic to hear her voice

Hello Lothar,

Thanks for this feedback. Is "ProSieben" a special German TV Channel, or is it a regular program on ARD or ZDF? The reason I am asking this is that we like to present the world of Hayley fans with as complete a coverage of any Hayley TV appearance as possible. And if it is on ARD or ZDF, I can record it, as I live in Holland and my cable service includes these two channels!

Thanks to Lothar from me too, for clearing up the confusion!

Gerrit, I know ProSieben is a digital satellite channel broadcasting on Astra at 19 degrees East - the old one that was used in the UK until a few years ago. It's also free-to-air so this weekend, I am desperately trying to resurrect my rusty old dish and equipment, and reprogramming my current Sky receiver, to try and get this channel (I've had it in the past). If I succeed, I'll be able to record and digitise Hayley's appearance. By this time tomorrow, I should know the results of my efforts!

Hayley's official German site has announced that she will be touring there in March/April 2005. They have no further details at present.
