What You Never Know single - Special News Item

I did say I wouldn't post this until later in the day. But, I can't wait to get it going.

As I have said elsewhere, "What You Never Know" will now NOT be released as a single.

But, all is not lost. I have four copies of it - signed by Hayley at the Special Concert for UNICEF at St James's Church, Piccadilly, London, tonight (Thursday). All proceeds achieved from them will go to UNICEF.

So, I'm going to run a "blind" auction - one where no bidder will know what any other bidder is offering. Bid high enough, and I will despatch them post and packing free.

There are a few simple conditions:

1) The reserve price is £5.00, which will be plus post and packing.

2) All bids must be in GBP and all payments in GBP. That is, British Pounds.

3) To enter a bid, send it by email to: [e-mail]
Bids sent in by any other method will not be included.
You must specify that you are bidding for a single.

4) Each disc will be auctioned off separately, so everyone will have four chances of winning one of them.

5) Each auction will be open for seven days.

6) The closing date and time for this first one is 12 noon (BST), 30th September 2005.

7) After each auction, the winning bid (not the bidder) will be posted here.

8) A new post will be made for each subsequent auction.

I can reveal that the first of these singles has been won by a bid of £25.00.

My congratulations, and sincere thanks, to the lucky winner.

Now, the auction for the second of these singles is open. All conditions are exactly as for the first auction, with the exception of the closing date, which will be 12:00 BST 9th October.

So, come on folks, be lucky. Put in a bid and let's see how much more we can raise for UNICEF from these rare Hayley collectibles.

Considering that there are only three of these singles left and they are most definitely collectors items - being personally signed by Hayley - the response here has been very poor indeed.

So, I am going to change the rules slightly. I am putting the three remaining singles up all at once.

The reserve price remains the same at £5.00 each (the reserve price will mean they are plus p & p)

You may bid for more than one - you could bid for all three but, your bid must be a price per single.

This auction will end at 12:00 BST next Sunday, 16th October 2005. After which time, they will no longer be available for purchase through the forum.
