I thought I'd start a new thread on Hayley's radio airplay generally (whatever Country) , as she's being played on more than one station at the moment 
and several different programmes - but nowhere enough in view of her popularity in the charts.
It was nice to discover that in the UK, BBC Radio 2 played "Aria (Cantilena)" on Sunday last week on "Melodies for You" at 7pm (23 minutes into the programme). But... Hayley should be played far more on Radio 2.
This morning on Classic FM, Hayley was apparently played TWICE - at 08:40, Ave Maria (Caccini) and again at 11:40, Benedictus from Pure. This seems to have had an immediate impact at Amazon UK - unless Hayley was also played on another station this morning (R2?) - because Odyssey shot back into their top 20 for the first time in a week. This effect can be seen every time Hayley gets airplay in popular shows or several times in a day. Classic FM are doing a great job.
But Radio 2 are doing a poor job and I think it's time for us all to start emailing BBC Radio 2 to complain that Hayley is NEVER in their Playlist (she is just played occasionally by individual presenters). It's about time the Radio 2 producers were reminded firmly that it's not acceptable for them to almost ignore artists such as Hayley just because they don't fit neatly into a particular "genre" pigeonhole.
I'm going to email a short and sweet complaint to: www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/ now, and I think the more of us do that, the better. You have to click the "Contact Us" link near the bottom of the left margin.
This is something practical we can do to help spread the word about Hayley and it could have an almost IMMEDIATE impact. So let's do it!!!
