On GMTV this morning Hayley said her new flat purchase had fallen through. I wonder why ? Maybe the vendor realised who she was and put up the price. The swine ! Hayley also said she was off to USA soon to hear George Bush's thoughts on the environment. Shouldn't take long ! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMy first thought on reading the above was that Hayley should have sent Roger as a ringer - do ya think she would have had her house (eeerrrr flat ) by now? Hayley always impresses me with the diplomatic way she puts things - that is for sure.

Hayley's reaction : Hayley all set to battle BT at home WORCESTER NEWS March 2, 2007At 19, Hayley Westenra has accomplished more than what most people hope to achieve in their lives. She has sung for royalty and is an ambassador for Unicef, and is the biggest selling female classical artist in the world.
The New Zealander has now settled in England, and her third album, Treasure, is now out. So what's new in her life?
"I was going to buy a house in London but it fell through. It's so frustrating! I'm more grown-up now - I've been renting and having to deal with companies like BT and paying bills are toughening me up. I feel pretty normal but at times, when talking to other 19-year-olds, I feel a bit distant because I've done so much and experienced so much.
"I've had to grow up quickly through my work with Unicef, performing and talking to crew members who tend to be older. But I still like to do normal teenage things like going out and letting my hair down."Link to article: click HERE.

Did anyone else pick up Hayley's comment on last night's Classic FM interview that she said her flat purchase had fallen through TWO days ago?
As we already knew that one had fallen through (in early February) are we to assume that a second one has come to nothing?
If so, Hayley did say in the interview that she had found something better
Let's pray that this is:-
Third Second time lucky, Hayley!!
Grant

First flat, second flat, third flat, I need to get the hang of this. So is Hayley still having "flat trouble"?

Considering her extensive tour in the US with Celtic Woman followed by a promotional tour in Japan, NZ & Australia, I highly doubt she had the time to find her flat.

Hello Meldy! Hayley has a very special suitcase with air conditioning and central heating. Perfect for all her travels around the world! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSeeing the weather in London today, I hope it's waterproof! Richard

But, Roger, if you look at posts 62 and 63 in the thread about her new home, Hayley herself intermixes the terms and these are public pronouncements. It is only those public pronouncements of her own--or reportedly of her--to which I refer. Peter S

Actually, while I did take note of these minor attempts at humor I have found that they now have a diminished effect.....as I am at work however, I will ask my staff to see if they have the key to continued harmony on this thread. Jon - who goal was to be able to write the seventh pun in one post
