Hey Stephanie, somewhere in this forum, I congratulated you on your well-deserved "promotion". Since I have no idea where I did that, let me once again, offer my congratulations to you. If I recall, I think you achieved 500 posts in just 38 days. Obviously, a TRUE, DEVOTED Hayley fan! All my best to you for continued success and may your desire to meet Hayley come true in the near future! Regards, Gene

Looks like I'm not the only one - you are yourself a true & devoted Hayley fan, Gene ! Let me take this opportunity to thank you once again for your fantastic contribution and fabulous pictures you posted for us. Meeting Hayley would obviously be great, but I'm above all looking forward to hearing her sing at least once in my life. A dinner with Hayley would be too much for me Best wishes, Stephany

Soon it's time for dinner but nobody called me so far. Maybe because I haven't registered for that. I would love to have dinner with Hayley but I guess I would't make it half around the world in time. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif :bat: I need more bats to speed up! I met Hayley for the first time at the Il Divo concert in Oberhausen last May. I didn't know that she signed her album in the intermediate break so it was more or less a coincidence that I met her on my walk through the venue. Everything went so fast that I didn't have the time to think about things to tell her. Suddenly I was in front of her and it was just great. Now actually I'm very nervous before I meet her but never when she's in front of me. The time usually flys by so fast that you can't talk to her as much as you like. But the wonderful thing is that if she takes time for her fans after the show you will talk to her. She usually stays until everybody is pleased. Thomas

Thanks for sharing, Thomas. Now - I'm curious, I assume you knew Hayley before seeing her at the Il Divo concert ?! Or did you discover her this particular day ? There's another thing I should worry about if I was to meet Hayley : English is not my mother tongue so I believe it will take me a lot of time to find my words in front of Hayley, haha. Unless she speaks French to me

Thanks for the quick answer, Thomas. Off-topic ? Not your fault, it's me who asks you off-topic questions Now, if you could dinner with Hayley (back on topic, yay!), I'm sure that would be a great challenge for her to speak German all long. But, who knows, she might well surprise us !! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi guys, Off-topic? Nah...it sounds like this would be a lovely dinner conversation! Of course, if Hayley were there, it would be rather awkward to keep referring to her in the third person. ::)Close to on-topic, now, I think. Anyway, I hope that whoever is able to have dinner with Hayley is able to make a post. Who knows...we may even have a new HWI member as a result!! Best wishes guys, Eric

I am quite surprised to find out that English is not the native language for many of you. I say this only because of the perfect way that all of you are able to express your words in writing in this forum. You write in English better than most native English people that I know. I studied Italian for two years in college, and even with that, I would never be able to write in that language as well as you guys can in English. I have been to Europe a number of times and always felt a little guilty that I didn't do more to learn other languages. I don't like feeling spoiled. I sincerely hope that I get the opportunity to meet all of you in person while I'm still on "this side of the dirt"! Gene

I think I would offend Hayley by eating around the kiwi and the kumara, lol. I don't care for either one of those things at all.

Hello folks! Any discussion about Hayley is food for thought, so it's practically impossible to take this thread completely off-topic. I'm really hungry for information about the lucky winners! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard

Hopefully there will be a report+pictures on "The Breeze" website. Dinner Report: Well, the squid guts and ink were quite tasty! Since no one replied to my contest invitation, I ate enough for the two of us (burp). Sorry, excuse me (belch). Excuse me again. Hayley was great and the wine did indeed, make it into my mouth and not my forehead. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHayley, do you have anything that you wish to add? Hayley? Oh Hayley! Are you ok? Oh-oh. Hmmmm.....it seems that some of the wine did in fact, also make it into Hayley's stomach.....Hayley! Wake up dear...c'mon now....Hayley...oh dear..... waiter! Oh waiter, we need some help here.....oh-oh, here come the pavarottzi! oh dear.... i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
