It is important for people to note that none of this is in the control of Hayley's management.
This is not Hayley's concert, she is appearing as a guest of Andrea Bocelli. Ticket prices are set either by his management, or the promoters.
It is causing some displeasure among fans in New Zealand but, it is not Hayley's fault.

It also isn't as bad as the headlines and first part of the article imply. Some seats were sold at reduced price because they were restricted view. When it was realised the view would not be resticted at all (due to changed speaker placements), the price was restored to that of other, equivalent seats.
But it was handled badly - the promotors should probably have taken it on the chin and left the prices alone.

I have been asked by Hayley's manager to make it absolutely clear what the situation is regarding this concert.
1) Hayley will perform FOUR songs on the Andrea Bocelli dates in NZ and Australia.
2) At this time, there are no plans for Hayley to actually sing on stage with Andrea Bocelli.
3) The fee Hayley will receive for the Christchurch concert will not even cover her expenses. She is using it as an excuse to get home for a day or two - and nothing else.

:)Hi everyone,
The Andrea Bocelli ticket prices are way over the top, i don't know of another concert with tickets so much.
I would not pay that much to see anyone including Hayley (Sorry Hayley) although of course she is worth it.
We do not blame Hayley etc and i wish her a great evening.And another dream come true.
