Monring, I don't seem to be able to record the feature onto my PC but it should be available at the following link for the next week :: www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/fivelive_aod.shtml?fivelive/uan1_wedIf you forward to 2h 20m 40s that is right before they begin the interview. It's about five mintues long, worth a listen i think if you have the time. It waas a surprsie to me when they mentioned that she would be appearing on the programme. I listen to it most nights anyway, this was a added extra. Just thought you might want to know, thanks PS. I'd recommend the rest of the progamme too if you like your global news and events.Nick,

Thanks very much, Nick. That was certainly an interview worth hearing.
Judging from the timing of the broadcast, Hayley certainly had a busy evening. She was at HMV from 5.15 for an hour or so, then she was appearing later with the Choirboys in the run-up to the release of their album. And then a radio interview! How does she do it?
Oh to be young again!
Roger

Hi Nick, Thanks for the link. Quite a different style of interview this one, from the Eamonn Holmes one. I have recorded it, and it can now be downloaded from this link: www.hayley-westenra-international.net/hwi/clips/zo05/upallnightradio5280905.mp3Hehe, that was a tricky one. You see, the radio player always starts the counter at 1:00:00, and when you said forward to 2:20:40, that's what I did. No Hayley within hearing range. Forwarding to 3:20:40, I got lucky. Guess it depends on whether you use the BBC radio player or the stand alone Real Player! Cheers, Gerrit

Many thanks in advance, cu Lothar Hi Lothar, I haven't looked at it yet but i KNOW the answer to your questions is... YES! You are quite correct, I often listen to "Up All Night" on "BBC Radio Five Live" (Radio 5) but this time, I missed it! Thanks Gerrit, I shall now listen to it later this evening, one day late! Dave

Hi Lothar, Actually, I devised the file name - and yes, you cracked my system I'll usually incorporate in the name details like the program name (Up All Night) (sometimes with the station name, in this case Radio 5). I always try to conclude the file name with the actual date of broadcast - from the historical perspective I think that's vitally important. If 5, 10 years from now people download the interview, they must be able to place it in the context of what happened in September 2005! Cheers, Gerrit

Hello Nick and Gerrit! Many thanks for bringing that interesting little interview to us. The presenter loses a point for mentioning Ch... you know who, but he gets it back again because he'd obviously done a bit of homework! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBye for now, Richard

Cheers, Gerrit Hi Gerrit, I use long file names with information of - singer - event - location - date because today it is no problem to identify the files, but in several months you don't know what does it mean. Greetings, Lothar
