Hi Roger,
And thanks to you and all the HWI staff members for doing such a wonderful job. For sorting us out when we get too carried away, which is all to easy where Hayley is concerned, for containing our enthusiasm and defusing possible unpleasantries, we thank you. It it thanks to you all that HWI remains such a pleasant place to live and move and have our (cyberspace) being. A very merry Christmas to you all, and may the new year bring everything you wish for.

Well, Merry Christmas Dori. And a happy new year too. It has not escaped my notice that I had planned to be at the Barbican tonight, listening to Hayley. I have always loved hearing her sing those Christmas songs, but have never been able to hear her do it live. So I have had to limit myelsf to making a CD from her Christmas concert TV broadcast of a couple of years ago, and playing that, Let's hope and pray she will do a Christmas concert, or even a Christmas Album, for next year, and will not be prevented from doing so by ill health. I know its the same old songs that she sang on My Gift to You, but I still love to hear them. And Dori, it is nice that you embrace Christmas, despite your different religious convictions. I wish that I had the same understanding, and that is despite living in one of the most multicultural cities on the planet. Too many people let religion divide them, in my opinion. We are all God's creatures, and Christmas is a wonderful time for "peace on earth, goodwill to all men". Surely we can all agree on that! Martin Hi Martin, Yes, I do take pride in being tolerant! I have an entirely Christian family; my mother was a convert years back, so I have really been raised by two religions (being devoted to one, of course ) I also can't imagine being American and not celebrating Christmas! It's part of our culture! And we make a great turkey! Here's my Merry Christmas photos from Charlotte, NC, USA! Outside my great-grandmother's house Me and Mr Snowman! I have a personalized ornament! My family have nicknamed me Kayna. I go by many names in my life... Our tree. It took us two and a half hours to decorate it! I don't look forward to taking it down! Merry Christmas!! Seems strange to think it is already Christmas in Aussie and NZ, Best wishes for a very merry and blessed Christmas to all our readers down under. I shouldn't forget Japan and China either, so best wishes to you all.
Not that I don't wish everyone else a good Christmas who reads this of course. Just that you still have a few hours to wait, as do we in the UK.

It is Christmas Day in Christchurch, a bit drizzly in the morning but hopefully better in the afternoon. I have been eating chocolate and listening to Hayley and Connie. Shortly I will be going to Ashburton (50 miles South) to spend Christmas with my parents and my brother and sisters and their family and eat heaps. Merry Xmas to Hayley and her family and to everyone in HWI and have a good new year.

As the sun rises in the Antipodes and Santa heads west it is time to put "My Gift To You" on the CD player and put some chestnuts on the fire.
Happy Christmas to Hayley, her family in Christchurch, and her extended worldwide family in HWI.
With best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year, Gini and Drew.

Hi Everyone, All the best everyone and have a wonderful time with your family and friends. The weather here as Ross pointed out is, seeing as Christchurch is the so called English city of NZ. So far it has turned on the traditional English summer weather, not good if you are expecting to get a suntan . Take care, have fun,and enjoy yourselves, cheers, Rodders CH CH NZ
