With only three weeks to go I thought I would be first to say "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" to Hayley & Family, the Bedlam Management Team, the HWI Management Team and all other HWI members and guests. The song has to be "Santa Lucia" Martin ps Hayley - I look forward to seeing your happy face again (see avatar) next year.

I'd like to send best wishes for Christmas and the New Year not only to Hayley and her family and all Forum members but also to the HWI moderators who have had a particularly difficult year with the fire at Proboards as well as cancelled and rescheduled concerts. I don't know where the rest of us would be without their sterling efforts on our behalf..........lost probably ! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hello everyone
My friend Elizabeth has asked me wish everyone at HWI, particularly those she met in Buxton, a very Happy Christmas.
She also wishes Hayley a speedy recovery and hopes to meet up with Hayley and her friends at HWI in 2009.

Heh, Hayley's having Christmas in the southern hemisphere, so pics of a wintry Christmas won't apply in her case. So...... Merry Christmas Hayley!

It is a bit early, but I suppose I might as well do it.
I wish everyone here and those who aren't very merry Christmas. That of course includes a very special wish for Hayley herself, and best wishes for everyone connected with her in any way, including all members of HWI, and everyone who reads this.
We all hope for the best for the New Year for all of you all. Perhaps 2009 will be the year when Hayley really breaks through into the mainstream (assuming that is what she wants of course). We can all live in hope.
God Bless you all
Martin

Merry Christmas, everybody! I'm having a fabulous time here in the US, and I think it's rather good that Hayley doesn't have any concerts going on because I would not have had the time to read the reports and enjoy the photos! Hayley, I hope you are well recovered and have a wonderful, and well deserved, Christmas and New Year in NZ! HWI, thanks so much for the wonderful year, and I give my regards to you all! May you all have a wonderful Christmas with your families, and a Happy New Year! I know I will! Dori

Well, Merry Christmas Dori. And a happy new year too. It has not escaped my notice that I had planned to be at the Barbican tonight, listening to Hayley. I have always loved hearing her sing those Christmas songs, but have never been able to hear her do it live. So I have had to limit myelsf to making a CD from her Christmas concert TV broadcast of a couple of years ago, and playing that, Let's hope and pray she will do a Christmas concert, or even a Christmas Album, for next year, and will not be prevented from doing so by ill health. I know its the same old songs that she sang on My Gift to You, but I still love to hear them. And Dori, it is nice that you embrace Christmas, despite your different religious convictions. I wish that I had the same understanding, and that is despite living in one of the most multicultural cities on the planet. Too many people let religion divide them, in my opinion. We are all God's creatures, and Christmas is a wonderful time for "peace on earth, goodwill to all men". Surely we can all agree on that!

PS It is snowing here and probably on most of the rest of the continent. If not, it will be soon!
