I hope she gets well!! Then again she's always working so hard, it will do good an early break to go back home. We would have loved to hear you sing again before Christmas, but your health is more important than our pleasure. I totally agree with you there Martin Get well soon, Meldy

Hi Roger,
Many thanks to you for keeping us apprised on Hayley's condition. What a great Dad Gerald is; and what a great Friend he is to let us know how Hayley is. I have met Jill but I've never had the pleasure of meeting Gerald. Hayley has a wonderful family, and it shows in the way she conducts herself. I worry about Hayley's health; but I'm convinced that with the love and care from her family and with all our prayers and good wishes she will make a full recovery. I only wish she didn't have such a rigorous schedule when she returns to the U K.

Thanks for that Roger. It is very good of Gerald to keep us posted on how Hayley is doing, so I would like to thank him too. Hopefully the summer sun and the love of her family will soon have her back to normal. It sounds as if that infection is really nasty, so it is good that she is being taken care of in the best possible way. It is still cold over here, we just about got up to 5 degrees today, and it is drizzling. I'm sure Hayley isn't missing it!

Thanks for the update Roger. I have never met Gerald but it is clear where Hayley gets her thoughtfulness and consideration for others from.

Thanks very much Roger for passing on Gerald's message and thanks of course Gerald for letting us know that Hayley has arrived home safely. It must be very special to have her home for an extended period, although as has been said, its a shame it has to be under such circumstances.
Hayley, please have a good rest and allow yourself to be looked after until your back to your old self again. I am really looking forward to seeing you again in the New Year. In the meantime, take care.
Mark.

Hayley left a message on her facebook group. Enjoy Monte XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 8 December 2008 Hello there lovely people, Just wanted to say hi and to apologise for pulling out of my end-of-year engagements in the UK and Japan. I picked up something (which turned into bronchitis) when I went out to Basra to launch the Poppy Appeal and then I just progressively got worse each day trying to keep up with my commitments. I'm now back in New Zealand with my family, still ill, but being well-looked after. My sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you... I'm doing my best to get into fighting form in time for all the exciting work I have lined up for 2009. I hope you're all well and doing better than me! Lots of love... Speak soon... Hayley xxx XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
