Hello everyone

Have just spoken to the box office at the Grand. They are currently 'stuffing envelopes' as I write this for posting out this evening.

Existing tickets will be valid for the new date.

The following message is included on the theatre's web site against the original cancelled date.

Due to illness, Hayley Westenra has had to cancel some of her tour dates. She hopes to reschedule them at a later date. We at the Grand wish her a speedy recovery and hope to see her return to us in the near future.

I've still got my ticket for Swansea. But it's too early to book flights and accommodation. I prefer to wait how things develop.

Hello concert goers

Had to pop out for a couple of hours only to discover when I logged back in that the hotel I'm booked into for the Swansea concert has closed suddenly!

Had to find some other accommodation and have managed to book a room at the Swansea Central Travelodge.

I was planning to stay there all along, but the lady at the Grand Theatre recommended the Singleton Hotel which "is just across the street"

Hi Grant!

I've booked a room in the Crescent Guest House. It's about a mile away from the venue. I rented a car as well so maybe I use it, maybe I walk.

As far as I know Karsten and Paddy booked a room in the Singleton Hotel.

I though there were others booked into the Singleton. They may not know about the closure yet.

The Travelodge has some £32 rooms and is reasonably close to the venue.
