Hi Steve, Thanks for sharing that with us. Hayley's endorsement of your "nice pics" is thoroughly deserved as can be seen throughout this forum... ...only I didn't sign your book! Roger

Hi everyone Thanks to Steve, Grant & Karsten for yet more wonderful photo's. I love the way Hayley signed your book Steve - its really nice to know that you are appreciated. It was a shame about the arranged photo shoot with Hayley and Raven not going to plan. Personally, I was aware of what Steve was trying to do and did hold back until I was sure that he had a shot in the bag. However, quite a number of us had our cameras in readiness and I think this distracted the girls from looking directly at Steve - so sorry Steve During the photo shoot, there was however a rather amusing moment, after Rachel, who looking at all us HWI guys with our cameras in a line in front of her, suddenly announces "you've all got matching ties" i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Despite the many concerts over the last 6 months or so and the many members attending who were wearing their HW Tartan ties, poor Rachel had only just noticed. It made me smile anyway i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Mark

Wow! there are so many stunning photos in this thread. Perhaps the best ever. I have thanked most of you before but I must add Karsten to the list of names. There is something special about you photos Karsten, something brilliantly artistic.. In fact, I think I am getting to the point where I can almost tell which of our photograhers took a particular photo just by looking at it, you all have your individual styles. It is truly wonderful that we have so many fine photographers here in HWI, and equally wonderful that we have such a photogenic subject. I don't think I have ever seen a bad photo of Hayley (except for some that I took that had technical faults, but those are my fault, not Hayley's).

Hi again Jillian, Read my post to Dave. I gave him my opinion in depth. Short answer is that I agree with you 1000%. To add to my diatribe I think that either Hayley is being held back or that she is comfortable where she is now. However I refer back to her book where she says," the U S is the Holy Grail for recording artists". Larry Hi Larry, But the easy thing to forget now is just how remarkable it is that a young girl from Christchurch, New Zealand of all places has such a successful career in the UK and Japan and other places. Australia's highest selling singer, Delta Goodrem, who's debut album sold over more than 1 million copies in Australia alone, can barely release an album outside the country these days. I don't know why, maybe there's a barrier to foreigners releasing in the big regions such as Europe and the States. It's such big news if an Australian even manages to chart in the UK or the US. So I suppose from that perspective, Hayley has currently got more than anyone from New Zealand could ever hope for. Cheers, Jillian

Hi Jillian, My Pop always told me never to be satisfied if I could do better. I followed his advice and worked my tail off and achieved what some would call a successful career. And I don't think I had nearly as much drive as Hayley. I think she has the talent and fortitude to reach whatever heights she chooses to reach for.

Alternatively, if possible, set it up just for HWI photographers which would be much easier to manage. Hi Grant, I wasn't there but from the reports I've read, I think the only photographers there at the time of the group photos were "HWI photographers" i.e. members with cameras... and it didn't work! In the case of prearranged photocalls like this, I think we need to distinguish between the "official site photographer" (OSP) and the rest of us. Giving the OSP absolute precedence would only delay the rest of us by a minute and it would certainly improve the chances that everyone in a group was looking at the same camera. In the absence of an official site photographer, another of the "HWI photographers" could be nominated by the senior member present as site photographer for the day. Only necessary of course in the event of prearanged photos, and again, delaying the rest of us by no more than a minute. In all such cases, we'd have to make it clear to the members present what was happening and when, with a light tap on the shoulder if necessary, for anyone who didn't hear! Just thinking aloud here, I hope it makes sense. Do we think it would work? Cheers, Dave

Thanks for all the beautiful photos so far. Her hair is so pretty in that style. I like her outfit. I guess it was too hot for boots. It's been hot here the last few days, too. But 27 degrees sounds awfully cold to me! Jillian, I think in that first photo of Hayley with Raven, she's not standing up all the way straight, and also she may be shorter than they are. She did say once that she was always the shortest girl in school, but now she has heels. In one of the concert photos, I could see one of the other girl's heels, and they did look a little higher than Hayley's.

Hi, With all the great photos from the signing posted so far I can only add my usual (non-flash) gimmicks - just for artistic reasons
