Unfortunately not all the girls are looking at me which is exactly what I tried to avoid by asking the other camera guys to hold fire Hi Steve, That is exactly what I attempted to achieve and I asked the girls to look to you at least for the first few shots. From where I stood, I could not tell that it wasn't happening. That is such a shame considering we got a provisional agreement to photograph the "line-up" over six months ago - this being the first suitable opportunity to put the plan into action. Oh well, thanks for trying, Steve. Roger

Hi Steve and Roger, Of course I wasn't aware of all these things - sorry for my (part of) interference. Perhaps there'll be another opportunity in Southend or Swansea (and perhaps even with Tim and Andy - just a proposal). On the other hand I tried this time to mix up the pictures a bit, that's why the group photo was posted so early... (Halfway) back in order now, too... All the best, Karsten

Hi Roger, Steve and everyone That is exactly what I attempted to achieve and I asked the girls to look to you at least for the first few shots. From where I stood, I could not tell that it wasn't happening. That is such a shame considering we got a provisional agreement to photograph the "line-up" over six months ago - this being the first suitable opportunity to put the plan into action. Oh well, thanks for trying, Steve. Roger Having been a photographer for more years than I care to remember, these sort of shots are always going to be difficult to get absolutely right. I tried to help when I realised what Steve was up to, by asking everyone to hold fire for a moment, but it clearly didn't work. Of course the girls didn't help by having a mini bonding session and fits of giggles as they decided where to stand. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifPut that sort of scenario before anyone with a camera and they're going to want a bit of it. For my money, and in hindsight, it would perhaps have been better to have had the "free for all" first and do the serous bit after with anyone wanting a serious, posed shot, having a turn then. Alternatively, if possible, set it up just for HWI photographers which would be much easier to manage. Perhaps we will have better luck at Southend. Best wishes Grant

Alternatively, if possible, set it up just for HWI photographers which would be much easier to manage. Well actually, that is exactly what this was supposed to be. It was agreed with Bedlam Management about eight months ago and we have been waiting for an ideal opportunity ever since. Steve and I both requested that he be given 30 seconds to get the perfect shot. All five girls did exactly as they were asked and even the venue staff were trying to accommodate our wishes. Despite significant effort, we still don't have a picture in which all five of them are looking at the same camera simply because the girls were confronted with a battery of photographers and, quite understandbaly, were trying their best to please everyone. A further possibility may arise at Southend but I have no intention of requesting it. They all go to great lengths to give us what we want but there is a limit to how much we can ask. Roger
