Hi Grant, Ah, but Google doesn't tell you how hilly it is, does it? See you there... if you make it! Roger

Bournemouth is quite hilly, but all downhill to the Pier, and the Pavillion is just above the Pier, so it will not be a heavy exercise getting there from the station. (going back to the station, that's another thing) We'll meet you around 3 o'clock at the Pavilion, either main entrance, or better, a tad to the left side of the building We will love to eat with you, as far as we can find some vegan food (I think it is not so difficult). If I am not wrong, smoking is not allowed in public places (which is a blessing for us).

I'll drop by on my way home around 3ish but I'll have to be home around 5 to get mum's tea (she's disabled) and get a shower and changed. Fingers crossed for the weather. It's been blue skies and sunny today but horrendous forecast for tomorrow - heavy rain and gales.

Yes, I've been checking the weather since last tuesday, and so far it does not seem very promising. Anyway, on wendnesday we'll have Hayley to brighten our day! We will come prepared for the cold, as we are having temperatures about 8 ºC higher than at Bournemouth.

As you probably know (but others may not) the stage door faces south towards the sea, where the wind and rain come from, and there's no shelter so it can get pretty chilly hanging around there late at night, which of course we will be.

Hi everyone
Have woken up to beautiful sunshine here in Southampton, just 20 miles or so along the coast from Bournemouth. And according to the BBC the forecast for Bournemouth this evening at least looks as though it will be dry when we go into the concert, if a little on the chilly side.
I hope to meet some people at the concert and wish all fellow concert-goers a great time tonight.
Kind regards
Colin

Just nipped out for a haircut (well you have to look presentable if you're in the front row !) and it's blue skies and sunny if a little chilly. One forecast said hail is expected later but Hayles certainly is !! Have a safe journey those of you travelling to this one. I'm told there's snow as far south as Shaftesbury. See you all later. I'm off to catch Faryl on "Loose Women!"
