Hello everyone Martin's post yesterday, announcing that he had secured a ticket for Hayley's rescheduled Cheltenham concert got me thinking. I had established that I could get to all the concerts I had previously booked, but it never dawned on me that I might be able to add one! (Thanks Martin!!) So I had a look at Cheltenham myself but hotel accommodation is quite expensive around that area and the station is miles out of town Then I looked at Bournemouth, plenty of reasonably priced rooms there, so I've booked one i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif and I've secured seat C9 at the Pavilion - a bit off centre but shouldn't be too bad a view. Incidentally, I asked the chap in the box office if it was worth hanging on a day or two to see if anything better comes up, but he told me that very few people have returned their tickets and that the concert is almost sold out again! Well done the people of Bournemouth! Best wishes Grant

I reviewed this thread to find out which members I will be seeing next Wednesday and discovered I hadn't posted my own details! I will be in C21. See you there Grant, Jordi and Gordon (who also seems to have kept his intentions a secret!). Anyone else? Roger

Hi Roger,
Would you do me a favor and try to find out the dates for Hayley's New Zealand tour? She told me at Oxford that she would be doing ten concerts in April and May.
Thanks
Larry

Hi Larry,
I will ask Hayley, or preferably, whoever is there from Bedlam but they should let me know anyway. The last we heard, they were still finalizing the contracts. I hope we hear something very soon because time is geting rather short for members to make the necessary arrangements.
Roger

I have checked all the seats posted on the old thread, as well as in this new one. Unless someone has returned their tickets, the list is as follows:
A11 -12-13: Colin A26: Jeff C9: Grant C20: Gordon C21: Roger 3rd row: riverofdreams D25-26: gymnerina E24-25: Olga & Jordi S39: daemonbyte
We will arrive the afternoon before, so we'll be all wendnesday in town. Any suggestion on a good hour to spot Hayley arriving?
Also, about the camera, do you think it will be allowed in (although not used) or we shall have to leave it at the wardrobe?

Hello everyone I hope to be at the venue for about 3pm, hopefully meet up with other concert goers and ultimately find somewhere to eat. Just a point. The address is Westover Road, but 'Google' directs me to Bath Road when I search, so I am confused I assume the venue stretches between the two but where is the main entrance located? See you there! (wherever there is! ) Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant The main entrance is definitely in Westover Road and is directly opposite the Odeon Cinema and Premier Inn. It overlooks the Winter Gardens which lead down to the pier and beach. As you would expect of a seaside town there are many places to eat. There are a couple of Wetherspoons Inns but are both a long walk from the theatre. There is a Prezzo on the corner of Westover Road and a pub named "The Brasshouse " further along but I noticed that it was empty on a Friday evening which says a lot! Alternatively, if you like fish then there is "Harry Ramsden's" opposite the pier. How do I know this? I was in Bournemouth last weekend! Have a great time on Wednesday . Martin ps If anyone is driving to the concert then the theatre has it's own car park but there are also two other car parks within 100 metres.

My journey will converge with Gordon's at Southampton. Our train is due at Bournemouth at exactly 3 o'clock. For anyone travelling by train, please bear in mind that Bournemouth station is miles away from the venue. We'll get a taxi! Roger

Hello Roger For anyone travelling by train, please bear in mind that Bournemouth station is miles away from the venue (and the venue). We'll get a taxi! According to 'Google' it is 1.1 miles and a 22 minute walk. My hotel is on the route so I shall save the taxi fare and get some much needed exercise! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant
