Hi Roger, Is it your local WH Smith I wonder? (though my local one doesn't stock it at all!) Online, WH Smith seem to be offering a bewildering series of options for "Pure" UK - but the cheapest I could find is £8.99 + delivery. Pure original 1 CD version - £12.99 Pure original (from Jersey) - £12.34 Pure Spec Ed 2 CD version - £10.96 Pure Spec Ed (from Jersey) - £ 8.99 The Very Best Pure CD Summer Collection - £4.99 i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif(nothing to do with Hayley!) Best I could find, I'm afraid. What's fascinating is that they have the original 1 CD version of Pure in Stock for immediate delivery I can't believe there are still some of them floating around - I wonder if they are going to discontinue the SE when all stocks are sold? Or maybe issue yet another version where sales can be combined, to try and get that elusive triple platinum or (probably) Russell Watson's debut classical CD record?

Hi Dave, The REALLY odd thing is that it is not even in stock in your local branch because it is currently #4 in the W H Smith classical chart! In that case, you would think every branch would have it. Mind you, there are none in my branch now - they only had two and I bought them! If there are plans to release yet another version, it seems strange that it would be timed to coincide (more or less) with the release of Odyssey. Is there any difference in the original or special editions from Jersey? Of course, there is no VAT in Jersey but that doesn't explain the difference in price. Roger

Hi Roger, well I said they don't stock it... and they didn't the last time I checked but that's all changed. Well it had, because they did indeed have them in at £4.99 each - as "Offer of the Week". But now, they don't have it again, because I drove into town after you posted... and like you, I bought both copies i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe girl on the checkout said she didn't mind at all, because she already had "Pure" at home - and it's also used as background music at a childrens group she is involved in! So thank you kind Sir, our four copies and Smith's bargain basement offer should help to keep it up in the chart next week. I wasn't serious about them doing another version of Pure, I think they'll stick with what they've got but it is odd that you can still buy copies (online) of the single CD version! Cheers, Dave

Cheers, Dave That's a pity in a way. A UK version with Mummers Dance could just see it make the triple platinum. Roger

I think the only thing that would persuade them to reissue the bonus CD version would be if they know that Pure is very close to the debut classical CD record and want the publicity that would come from breaking it. Another reissue with the best 3 or 4 bonus tracks could be added on saleswise (if the current SE cannot). The only reason I mentioned it is that I know Hayley must be fairly close to the record (probably Russell), and the WH Smith price smacks of a clearout. But, I'm only guessing! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
