Hi Grant That's great news and thank you for all your efforts and hard work getting this venture to a successful end. I wonder how many pumps that will buy?
Best wishes Martin

Hello everybody and thank you for the good wishes posted so far. That's great news and thank you for all your efforts and hard work getting this venture to a successful end. I wonder how many pumps that will buy? Martin, I believe each pump costs around US$16,000 delivered and installed, so we will have to sell a few more posters before we can pay for our first one, but it's a very worthwhile start. Also, the support from everyone has been amazing, so another big thank you to you lot!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

That's US $581.43! That's a lot! Thanks again for starting this fundraiser, Grant! As I've said before, it's so nice to be able to help out with Hayley's UNICEF project, and get something wonderful at the same time. I also contribute to charities based in the U.S., World Vision, which is based in the Seattle area, and Operation Blessing, based in Virginia. They don't bother with global warming issues at all, either. They each send out catalogs periodically, and you can choose certain areas of need to donate to, such as giving a goat, chickens, etc., or warm clothing, medical needs like anti-parasite medicine, mosquito nets to prevent malaria, etc. I really enjoy doing it. I truly don't mind giving up a little money, knowing that it's helping people who have almost nothing. I'm interested in preser conservation of the earth too, but helping the poor is far more important!

Hello everyone Well, the postman walked straight past my house this morning, so no CD just yet However, I went down to the picture framer in the village a little while ago to fetch a carrier for my RoD poster. It is now ready to go for framing i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

Grant yours looks Great! Dean Hi Dean and thanks I now have posters in every room except the bathroom and my spare bedroom - 5 in all and I still have more to find a home for. Next up will be my "Pure" poster, which I think must be quite rare - trouble is, the basic blue colour doesn't fit with the decor in potential locations! May have to do a bit of decorating this summer! Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant & Dean, Well done Grant.....yes, running out of wall space must be one of the setbacks of aging. ( & I'm talking of me) My poster is lying face down on the lounge room table while it "relaxes". I've been humming & harring re whether to frame or film laminating it. Then comes the problem of where to hang it.....I suppose if it was a frame on a picture hanger it could be rotated around with the other pics. We'll see. Grant, I noticed that UNICEF NZ don't have a specific way of donating for water pumps under Hayley's sponsorship. Or am I wrong? Graeme
