I wasn't sure exactly which bit at the start you are talking about, but this is what I hear: "And now on piano we have Tim Evans" (she says something while everyone claps which I cant catch) "Goodness me you guys are full of surprises" "Um, (hehe) not that it - you know - it's surprising that you are being whistled at!" "Oh dear, the last night of the tour!"

At the beginning of Never Saw Blue, Hayley introduces Tim Evans when he comes on stage, and then she says something that makes them all laugh. I can't quite understand everything that's said. Can anyone help figure out what she says? Here's the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qg0szsQvcAY&feature=channelHi Libby! I think Hayley says to the audience "goodness me, you guys are full of surprises" in response to the crowd's whistles to Tim and Andy's introductions. Joe

I think she says "not that it's er.. you know, surprising that you're being whistled at" (giggle)
The bit before "goodness me" is only a couple of words, and I can't make it out either. Sounds something like "aha".

That's cute. Part of it was not knowing what was going on, her giggling, the echoing, and probably her accent, too. I don't usually have trouble with her accent, though. I only heard her introduce Tim Evans, and Andy was already there.
