I do wish I had been more prepared to capture the lift but it was a last minute thought or rather last second! Moments after I shut off the camera, Jonathan came back on stage looking smug and Hayley shouted from the wings in mock disgust " huh, Jonathan Ansell" It was followed by laughter from the audience and applause. I think Hayley rather enjoyed it all!

Hi Chelle, Thanks for the review. Glad all went well and the tour ended with everyone happy. I am just about to set off for Hayley's solo concert in Manchester tonight, making a day of it ! It will be about 2-00am Sunday before I get home as well ! Still it is worth it !! Best Wishes, Graham

Hi Chelle and thank you for your lovely report from Dartford. It has been a fabulous and eyeopening, and often quite emotional couple of weeks for us all hasn't it? And Marian ....... what can I say? The 'Fireman's Lift' video was a real treat this morning. Thank you and all Jonathan's fans for your friendship during the tour. Lots of Love Grant xxx

Thanks for that superb review Chelle and the photos Marian. What lovely pictures. I also love the first one of Jonathan and Hayley. They look so happy. I am so glad the tour has been an outstanding success for both of them with new fans for each of them. Even if the next year is more or less organised for them, perhaps the great rapport they have had will encourage them both to want to arrange another tour together eventually.

Thank goodness I can log on here...having probs with Jon's site (using husbands computer, so don't know what the problem is )!!!!
Absolutely love the clip Marian...well caught ! and all the photos.
So Jon is doing NZ soon...a bit disappointed as we were planning to go to NZ ourselves early next year when we get round to organising it.....but didn't really hold out any hope that our trip would coincide......I can but dream though !! Never mind , it's great Jon is able to spread his talent around the world, and who better to do it with than the lovely Hayley. It's so lovely to see their interaction on stage....do you think Jon is the favourite of all the people Hayley has duetted with....I doubt we will get to know I suppose.
This Valentine's Tour has been a roaring success here, ....wish I had been able to do more than 2 , but thereagain some people weren't even able to do that so I am satisfied.
I hope we can get some good 'on the spot ' reports from NZ.
Thankyou Hayley and Jonathan for bringing us such delightful entertainment ....I shall keep pleading for an album of duets and of course another uk tour (Birmingham area pleeease ).

Even if the next year is more or less organised for them, perhaps the great rapport they have had will encourage them both to want to arrange another tour together eventually. So agree with this one. They work so well together it would be great to get another Tour when they both have time to spare and another chance to meet up with you guys from over here Surely after this hugely successful Tour, a duets album MUST be on the cards now !!!

I echo’s Chelle’s first words WOW WOW WOW!
A last night of a tour couldn’t get much better, well part from it lasting all night but Hayley is off to Manchester tonight for a solo concert so it wasn’t to be!
After the usual mad dash after work and getting stuck in the car park otherwise known as the M25, I arrived about 7pm to be greeted by Chelle at the door. I was glad it stated at 7.45 as I would have been panicking! The mayor had just arrived so the place was very busy already.
The Orchard Theatre, although not the largest of the venues, was a sell out and also very user friendly as the car park was right next door and free! – I like free as it made up for the £30 charge I had to pay at the Palladium Grrr!!
The majority of the front row and many in the second were familiar faces for Jonathan and now Hayley. Not a lot of leg room but a fantastic view. The stage was set back a little with a cover over the orchestra pit just in front of us and not very high – just perfect!
No candelabras or extras on set which was sad but who would be looking at them when we have such wonderful singers and musicians on stage? Lol The set list was as before with only some dialogue changing and a couple of extra twirls from Hayley.
Like us, they were rather sad it was the last night as they have had so much fun together so I hope like they do, that this is not the last we see of them performing together.
I thought Hayley sounded wonderful with the best rendition of Pokarekare Ana I have heard all tour. Such a pure voice. In fact all her solos were lovely and enjoyed each and everyone. She was given a great reception from a very appreciative audience. Now as for Jonathan, he certainly put extra Terra into Canto Della Terra!! As normal, he started singing this from the centre of the stage but when he reached the powerful part he came rushing forward onto the lower part of the stage to a few inches in front of us and scared the living daylights out of me, Christine, and Chelle! We were blasted to the back of our seats and I could feel his energy and power serge through me to reach every single corner of the building. Christine grabbed my hand so tight, she broke one of my nails and Chelle and I were rigid as we watched one of the most incredible performances I have ever seen him do. I did remark to him afterwards that he scared the life out of me and he laughed and said he was glad! Hmm not sure how to take that Jonathan!! Lol
I think most of the audience was left breathless after that as the place erupted with loud applause.
Tim and Andy seemed to appreciate all the cheers and whistles (wonder who that was, Chelle!!) they received. I thought they have been brilliant night after night.
Raven were again very good but nothing will beat their performance at the Palladium
A very well deserved standing ovation at the end was given by a vast majority of the audience and Hayley and Jonathan seemed rather emotional. Sadly, it was all over too soon.
A small crowd had gathered at the stage door to greet them. It wasn’t long before parents Ansell left and about 20 minutes later, Jonathan and Hayley came out of a different door!! Jonathan dumped his bags in the van and came round the corner to meet us with a huge smile and welcome and Hayley remained near the van and chatted away. Luckily for us it was dry and quite a mild night so everyone could take their time. Jonathan and Hayley didn’t seem in a rush and were only too pleased to chat, sign mementos and have their photos taken. It was all very civilized. Jonathan and Hayley very kindly agreed to pose together for a few shots before they headed back home.
I would just like to thank all of Hayley’s fans for being so welcoming and friendly. It has certainly added to the experiences of this tour and I hope we will all be able to meet up again at some point.
I wish Hayley luck for her solo concerts and tours coming up and thank her for just being her – a lovely young lady.

...do you think Jon is the favourite of all the people Hayley has duetted with... Of all the male people, a definite YES. Streets ahead of any other partnership I've seen, and I have seen most of them I think. But I wonder what Hayley would do now with the likes of Bocelli, Carraras or Domingo. Bocelli overpowered her a few years ago, but nowadays it might be different. It is probably not fair to try to compare Haley's duets with Jon against the ones with Dame Malvina, Meav or Sophie.
