Hi Dave, The right man at the right place at the right time. To second Paddy - many thanks that you were able to capture this nice little banter. At Bradford it was simply to surprising and no one found a camera as fast as necessary. Thanks again and all the best, Karsten

Many thanks for capturing that lovely moment, Dave! I can tell from Hayley's facial expression that she was enjoying it, but Jonathan is of course very experienced at sweeping young ladies off their feet! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThanks to Roger and Chelle for the great reviews of the concert. There are a few more on Jonathan's forum, so here's the link: jonathanansell.forums.umusic.co.uk/t/2206.aspxBest Wishes, Richard

Hello all, I'm from Jonathan's forum, and have been enjoying reading your forum so much that I decided to register.
Can I first say thank you so much for the photo sequence of the fireman's lift-wonderful moment captured so well!
I very much enjoyed Eastbourne -obviously I booked this tour very much as a Jonathan fan, but Hayley!!-I knew she was good, but until I saw her live I don't think I realised quite how good. Both were on superb form at Eastbourne-obviously still buzzing from the Palladium!
Hayley highlights for me were "Never Saw Blue"-such a stunning song, and "Pokeareare Ana"-when she starts off alone in that her voice is crystal clear, and the song is very moving.
Jonathan highlights were definitely "Se", Canto Della Terra" and the beautiful "To Where You Are". His power mixed with delicacy has to be heard to be believed.
All the duets are wonderful-these two make such a lovely pairing, I do hope they can work together again, and if possible make an album of duets.
Hayley seems very similar to our Jonathan in the way she makes time for everybody afterwards-two lovely people. Thank you to all you HWIers that we have met along the way-nice to see familiar faces turning up!! I can't believe tomorrow is the last show-hope to see some of you there:)

Hello Suz2 and welcome to the forum from Central England. I hope you enjoy your time here and I'm very pleased that you like Hayley so much I attended three Valentines concerts and enjoyed everyone. I would probably have done more, but I have four Hayley solo concerts in the next two weeks! Best wishes Grant

I've enjoyed this thread. Thanks to all the contributors, reviews and photos, and especially Dave's pics of Hayley being carted off. Wonderful. I too hope these two will perform together again, hopefully somewhere and sometime when I can make it. Oh, and welcome to our new friends from Jonathan's forum. I hope you enjoy it here.

Hi Dave & Graham, If I've been busting with curiosity about anything in the Valentines Tour its about this little piece of theatre. FABULOUS !!!!!Very nicely "carried out" Jonathan. Hayley did not lose any dignity. I was hoping someone would take a picture of this, too. When Grant first described it, I could hardly believe it, so it's nice to finally have proof! And thanks for all the other nice photos on all the Valentine concert threads!

Hi All, I made up a collage of Dave's sequence of Hayley over the shoulder pics & sent him a PM asking may I post it. As I don't know how long it might be before he gets to my PM I'm taking the risk of posting it anyhow. Thanks Dave. i71.photobucket.com/albums/i145/graemar/20090217carryP2423_gkcollage2.jpgThe size of the pic is 1280 x 1024 pix & fits my monitor screen exactly. Graeme

Hello again everyone! Something i just wrote in the "Is She Too Good" thread reminded me that I missed out something from my report on the Valentines Eastbourne concert! I was so entranced (for the second time) by Hayley's beautiful rendition of "I Know You By Heart" (made famous by Eva Cassidy) that I mentioned it to Hayley as she was about to board her tour bus. I let her know that several members had commented that it was for them the highlight of the evening and that it was so good that I thought she really must make sure it's on her next solo CD. I said 'solo' in case she decided to do a duets one with you-know-who! Anyway, Hayley's face lit up and she gave me that "OK, I've got the message!" look while mentioning that her friends had all said the same thing! Suffice it to say that I will be utterly amazed if this gorgeous song fails to appear on one of her CDs soon... Oh, something else, I've made an enlargement of the fireman's lift photo from above... I thought you'd like to see it Cheers, Dave
