Thoroughly enjoyed reading your reviews Grant...don't think you missed anything out. I'm so pleased that this tour has turned out to be such a success for them.
The interaction was very good at Oxford but I wish I had seen Jon scoop Hayley up off the stage....what next I wonder ?

Hello Ruth, and welcome to the forum! I reckon Hayley has been building up her strength in New Zealand, so next time she might carry Jonathan off the stage! Best Wishes, Richard

You always get good value with Hayley and her meet and greets even when it's raining ! I was reading that Beyonce charges £1245 to have your photo taken with her ! Hope Hayley isn't reading this. She might get ideas !

Thanks Graham, I had intended to try and guess where and when this interview might be broadcast so I could record it from digital TV but unfortunately, I had to go out at the time the regional news programmes were broadcast so I missed it. However... thanks to your tip-off, I have now downloaded the ITV news programme from the Yorkshire ITV website and I have extracted the Hayley-Jonathan interview to keep for posterity. Video size is small and the bit rates are very low (220 kbps video, 20 kbps audio) but what you see is exactly what was on the website. It looks much sharper to me when played in VLC Media Player than Windows Media Player (which frankly, isn't a very good player at all). I think it will stand being viewed at double size. Hayley & Jonathan Interview - Yorkshire ITVCheers, Dave Good interview but yet again we have another TV company that thinks Hayley is an OPERA SINGER !!! Grrrrr!!!

Well Jon has always been extremely generous with his time and patience too, often helping some of us with shaky camera fingers who can't get them to work and always a gentleman. Together they make a wonderful team . Let's hope they don't get too Diva-ish and start charging like Beyonce,,,,is that for real ?

A couple of extracts from JA Forum.....
I've always loved Hayley voice. So unique in its purity. But for me the singing teenage angel is developing now into a confident young women. She retains that pure simplicity in some of the songs but is then able to really emote & bring power to other songs. It is wonderful to have both Hayley & Jonathan singing at full power & neither out does the other. The pair of them can reach notes is the stratasphere with such ease. Hayley looked so beautiful last night - what great pins she has!! I think it was Jules who said she looked as though she had lost weight. I agree & she looks so good but I hope she isn't under pressure to do so & over does it. She is naturally pretty & her style particularly in the short dresses suits her perfectly.

At half time I got chatting to some American men who had come to see Hayley
There is lovely review written by the man I sat next to, his name was Grant and he writes on Hayley's International Forum. He was very interesting to talk to, and quite impressed with Jonathan too! ........empirelady

Hi Grant, Thanks for your very detailed report. ..... and also I saw the the time you posted them..... real dedication to duty As my post yesterday we caught the snow bad locally and setting off after work at 16-30 would not have been sensible. It was a struggle to get home only 2 miles ! I see some of JA fans had some 'nightmare' journeys from the North Thanks and Best Wishes, Graham

He was very interesting to talk to, and quite impressed with Jonathan too! ........empirelady Thanks for posting that Graham Yes, I had a most enjoyable time talking to 'empirelady' in fact us 'Hayleyites' have been getting on very well with Jon's fans at all the concerts which I think is great for everyone. In fact, I was sat next to Karsten but we hardly spoke during the concert because he also spent a lot of time talking to the lady next to him! The snow up north did cause problems. One couple took five hours to get from Newcastle and only arrived during the interval. As for the time of my post, yes, I actually climbed into bed at 3.40am - it's become a bit of a ritual with me and I'm never tired after a concert. I'm feeling it a bit now though! Best wishes Grant Best wishes Grant

Not wishing to claim any influence but it seems my strongly advised re-writing of the starting announcement at Oxford was properly passed on and heeded!

Hi Grant, Many thanks for your report - as usually I can only add some photos. Here's the first one: I've received the impression that Grant, Paddy, Thomas and I were surrounded by Jonathan Fans in the auditorium. Just beside me sat a very friendly couple from the North - it was very enjoyable for me chatting with them. Greetings also to Tracey from Newcastle... As at Lincoln Castle with the Aled fans respectively it's always a nice interaction between the 'fan groups', I think. P.S.: You've mixed up Thomas and me, I was in charge to take a photo of Hayley and Thomas after the concert. Hi Dave, I've just watched the video. Thank you very much indeed for posting it. All the best, Karsten
