Like Roger, I didn't see it on Bradford's 'What'sOn?' page (because I didn't look):

It's not there now though.


But I saw it on the list for ordering tickets:

It's still there and, when I clicked 'Continue', it offerred me D12

JA FMs have found out from Bradford that although JA name is on the ticket he is not appearing so they are sending them back for refund! So hope someone pulls their finger out and gets it as part of the Valentines Tour as the date is right in the middle and that must be truly difficult for Hayley and Raven to do a totally different set??

Click on the big brown button, then select February 2009 and scroll down to 'Hayley Westenra'.

If Hayley is appearing without Jonathan, we can easily move this thread off the Valentines Tour sub-board.

Hi Di,

I received a full schedule from Bedlam this morning and it still included the Bradford event. I had pointed out that we were being told it wouldn't include Jonathan and I sent them the flyer that you posted last night so they could see for themselves. Nevertheless, they have still told me that the schedule is correct. I reiterated the query this afternoon but I don't see what more I can do.

I hope the Valentine tour and this concert go on as planned. It's sad that parts of the RoD tour had to be postponed due to illness.

But making changes on already confirmed concerts without very good reasons can't be adequate.

Hi Di,

Bedlam Management have now confirmed that this concert will NOT include Jonathan. Nicola has said she will update me with further information when it comes in but, presumably, this will be a Hayley only event.

I will leave this thread in its current location for the time being but it will probably be moved to the main Concert board when the position is clarified.

This all gets more and more confusing but Kathryn from Bedlam confirmed late Friday that Jonathan is now appearing!

Firstly Jonathan wasn't going to be doing Bradford (apparently he had some other engagement) however, I received a phone call an hour ago asking if he could indeed do it, which we have of course agreed to. So, Jonathan and Hayley will be doing all the Valentines Tour dates that have been announced.

Hopefully all the relevant websites will be updated soon

According to the venue's website, it is Hayley only. As that agrees with what Bedlam last told me, I have no choice but to go with that until such times as they tell me otherwise. If it had changed on Friday evening, the website should have been updated by now. My understanding is that it is Nicola at Bedlam who deals with bookings and that's who told me that Jonathan would not be appearing. Kathryn may not have been aware of that at the time.

For safety, let's keep checking the website over the next few days but, based on what I have been told, I am expecting this event to be Hayley only.

Right, here we go again.

This concert will be part of the Valentines Tour featuring Hayley and Jonathan. Apparently this was only agreed last week and the signs are that it may have been very late last week. The email from Nicola on Thursday stating that it would only be Hayley was almost certainly correct at the time. Unfortunately, I received no amended details until I enquired this morning.

Thanks to Kathryn Nash for the final confirmation. I will update the schedule as soon as I have recovered from my currently bewildered state!

Apparently JA had something else on that night but the theatre had got it wrong originally and so both website and tickets had both names. Then when the flyer was posted fans double checked with Bradford to find out JA was not going to be there - to say all hell was let loose was putting it mildly! Would like to think that this fan reaction got all involved into gear and the net result that it is back on The Valentines Tour. Kathryn let me know late Friday as I was mailing everyone I could to find out!!

Anyway we look forward to meeting you all around the country - really looking forward to this but would like them to give a better idea for folks as to what to expect on the various websites - would be good for non fans
