I was interested to see if there are any good seats still available. If so, Sue and I might make a weekend of it (it is Sue's birthday on 4th, and a significant one). It will also be Hayley's first full concert appearance since Northampton on 5th November.

Hi Martin,

The Book Online button works for me. Although I don't wish to book, I have progressed to the point where it offers me the best seats available which are currently K16 and 17. As the front row is A (it isn't always), that makes it eleven rows back. From that, I reckon sales are going fairly well as there are still about six weeks to go.

The fact that it offered you Row H tonight when the best I could book last night was Row K is odd. Or did you only try to book one ticket? That would explain it.

Hayley Westenra and Jonathan Ansell have teamed up together to play a few special selected dates for their Valentines Tour and February 6 at Rhyl Pavilion Theatre is one of them.

In December, 2007, it was announced Hayley Westenra was the biggest selling classical artist of the 21st Century.

Hayley has had over 4 million album sales with sell-out tours in New Zealand, Japan, America and the UK, while still finding time to work closely with The Royal British Legion and Unicef – for whom she is their youngest ambassador.

Her latest album River of Dreams a best-of-so-far was released in October, 2008.

Jonathan Ansell, the charismatic young singer with the sensational tenor voice who shot to fame three years ago with pop opera group G4 on the X Factor, has now established himself as a bona fide solo star. Jonathan, who quickly became the stand-out favourite of the fans on the X Factor, achieved amazing success with the classically-trained group G4, who announced their split in early 2007. Interesting, I feel like booking just to join the HWI set but as I'm seeing Hayley at the Palladium, plus a couple of rescheduled shows, Cardiff and Swansea, I think, must check my travel arrangements plus one other Valentine's tour perhaps I'll stay warm here. Wish you all well those of you (and Hayley) heading for Rhyl and Reading. Don't you dare catch a cold Hayley, go break a leg, lady!

I don't think anyone from HWI is going to this one which is a shame as it will be Hayley's first public appearance after her illness.

Oh well, as Martin says, we'll just have to make up for it at Reading on Sunday ...... and I'm sure we will!

I wold have come to the Rhyn concert, but I couldn't get out of town early enough. Also I couldn't get a good seat. Unfortunately I tend to decide to come over at the last minute so I miss the prime seating. If only I could take a cab from the U S to the U K.
