Hi Karsten, James... and everybody else too! I received my Email from 'Classic FM' about the Christmas Concerts too (but I heard the news from James first!!! ) I applied to the 'Classic FM' competition to win some tickets for this event, but didn't want to risk the odds... so I also booked 3 tickets for the North Aisle (gallery seats) of St. Mary's Cathedral this morning at 10.16am (one for me and the other two for my Mum & Dad). I texted David to let him know about the Concert too... he seems very keen to go, so I think he will be ordering his own tickets too. It took me 3 attempts before I actually received any response from the telephone number provided (08444124636). I tried calling the number at 9.15am but received no answer... I thought perhaps I should wait until 10am before trying again... which I did... still no reply after waiting for 4 minutes for someone to answer the phone! I tried calling again at 10.15am and someone eventually answered my call at 10.16am I couldn't believe that the first 4 front rows had already "sold out" by the time I had managed to get through to ticket sales... My theory is that perhaps the first 4 rows have been reserved as a block booking! (which may include seats for the lucky 'Classic FM' Competition winners). I can't wait to see and hear Hayley again... I love wonderful surprises like this!!! What a fantastic Christmas present this really is for everybody who will be attending! Thank you Hayley! xXx Andrew

Hi Andrew, Karsten and all, I spoke to Andrew on the phone this morning and got told the fantastic news! As with Andrew it took me several attempts to get through to the ticket office (won't say how many exactly ) before I finally managed to speak to someone and booked three seats in the fifth row back!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif This will be my first time seeing Hayley in my home city so I'm overjoyed that she is coming to Edinburgh this December! As you say Andrew this will be a truly wonderful Christmas present for everyone there. Thank you so much from me Hayley! David

Hi All, I received a phonecall from my parents at 10am today... They decided to tell me about one of my main Christmas presents early... They've booked 3 tickets for some good seats in Row G at St. Mary's Cathedral!!! I'm delighted... I'll be selling the 3 tickets which I've already booked for the North Aisle in due course... if anybody is interested? (£16 each) Andrew

Sadly I will be unable to make this concert. I am in Birmingham the night before (Katherine Jenkins) and at Wembley on the Sunday afternoon so I think trying to do Edinburgh on the Sat would be a bit of a rush

Guess what! Sue and I will be at Katherine's concert too! Shall we set up a HWI meet at a KJ concert? Would that be a first? I gather we shall see Farryl Smith perform too!

Hi all, According to seetickets.com this concert is very nearly sold out - only a few seats left, apparently without any view. Not long to wait now - fingers crossed! David
