Hi All.
I don't know exactly how Idols 2008 is organised, but ...
Just this weekend, Zoë has won the regional final in Fareham.
I am not sure how this works out, as from Holland, I have no idea where and when the next instalment takes place.
I would love to support Zoe in the next step.
Will there be any opportunity for anyone to assist in obtaining video coverage of the next stage of Zoë's progress? Personally, I consider this far more important than supporting any well established performer.
Dave? Roger? Can you help, please?

I live in Fareham and I didn't know anything about this!
I'm not aware of any TV coverage but if you can let me know when and on what channel, if there is any, I will see what I can do to help.

Most recent information I received from Linda states:
She (Zoë) now goes on to sing in the Grand Idol UK National final in Portsmouth on the 29th November at The Guildhall, which is being televised by ITV local
Hopefully someone can capture this .....

Hi Gerrit, I am pleased that Zoë is on her way to perform the final at Idol 2008 in a few days' time. I love her rendition of 'Nessun Dorma' and should really impress the judges! Although it has been some time since I have communicated with Linda Mace, kindly inform her that I am still in strong support of her daughter. And today marks the first anniversary of Zoë's CD "Once Upon A Time". Well done and Good Luck Zoë !  |

Hi All,
I have just received a reminder from Linda that this Saturday, the Final of Idols 2008 will take place. Plenty of Zoë supporters are travelling to the finals from Oxford.
Just a repeat of a request from me for a recording of the event if it can be arranged.

Zoë was runner-up at the Idols final. I received this news just this minute from Linda.
I have sent them a personal message of congratulations for an outstanding effort.

OK, as a result of the e-mails I received from Linda, I decided to search ITV Meridian for info about Zoë. I located this video about Zoë's second commercial single, O mio babbino caro: www.zoe-mace-international.com/clips/O08a/secondsingle.wmvMost videos on ITV are apparently not available outside the UK. This one was an exception, so I grabbed it before they change their mind .... Some nice footage here of Zoë and her sister Jodie. Gerrit |

I just received another e-mail from Linda. She has a recording of the broadcast and is willing to send me a copy.

Broadcast? Future broadcast, I hope as there was nothing in Digiguide and I didn't see anything on the Sky TV guide... so I'm puzzled!
