Earlier this evening, I made the following post to the AAI forum: Just in case anyone is wondering, HWI will continue with exactly the same team as before. Roger

This is a little bit scary What would happen if Hayley dumped Bedlam? Now I don't know that Hayley has any problems with them, (unlike her record company that appear to be doing her no favours, allowing her to record one of the greatest albums ever made by a female artist, then refusing to release it anywhere except Japan), But I would hope that HWI would continue come what may.

Hi Martin I can't ever see that happening. The relationship between Hayley and Bedlam is far more than that of star and management. They're like an extension of Hayley's family. Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant,
Yes, I know that Bedlam and Hayley's family work together, and understand that that works well. But Roger's post gives the impression that AAI (and by implication HWI) are somehow tied to Bedlam. I had not realised that before, and was trying to gain a clearer understanding. I don't believe that is true for a second, in which case it needs to be made clear.

Hi Martin, This is a little bit scary But there's no reason it should be! But I would hope that HWI would continue come what may The best way I can answer that is to quote Roger himself: Just in case anyone is wondering, HWI will continue with exactly the same team as before. Roger
Roger's post gives the impression that AAI (and by implication HWI) are somehow tied to Bedlam. It doesn't to me and it isn't intended to. The pre-existing relationship with Bedlam Management was part of the reason why AAI was set up, which is why it was mentioned. But it was AAI's idea, not Bedlam's and anyway, that doesn't apply to HWI. Martin, you can breathe again! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Dave

But it was AAI's idea, not Bedlam's and anyway, that doesn't apply to HWI. Hi Dave I am not sure what you mean by that. What was AAI's idea? Was it their idea to close the site - or their idea to leave Bedlam? The problem is that Roger seems to suggest a quid pro quo. AAI leaves Bedlam, and therefore the site must be closed. This begs an obvious question, as family or not, times and people, and business arrangements especially, are subject to change. Jon

But it was AAI's idea, not Bedlam's and anyway, that doesn't apply to HWI. What was AAI's idea? To set up the AAI website and forum. The idea didn't come from Bedlam but from those of us who liked what we heard from AA (and still do) but the then existing connection to Bedlam (through HWI) just made the decision to set it up easier. Don't read too much into things, everyone - and don't forget that the AAI forum will remain open for business! Dave

Hi All Let's hope this split from Bedlam does not imply an uncertain future for AA . This needs to be clarified as soon as possible for the benefit of the many fans who have stuck with the girls.

Hi Everybody,
I have had my own concerns regarding All Angels which I have had for a while now, but my support for the girls as a group remains as strong as ever.
Despite the split with Bedlam, I believe that they are going to record a new album for next year so at the very least we have got that to look forward to.
I'm looking forward to taking control of the forum and had I had the money, time and knowledge I may have offered to take over the site or at the very least start a new one but unfortunatly I do not, but I do hope to incorporate some of the features of the site, such as the gallery on the forum in some way.

Hi Dazza,
For the benefit of HWI members, thank you for accepting ownership of the AAI forum which should be yours within days.
I would just like to clarify one aspect of something that Dazza said. In mentioning "the money", Dazza was referring to the cost of registering the AAI domain, renewing it annually and the cost of the webspace in which to host it. He was not referring to any cost that I might charge for selling the site!

The problem is that Roger seems to suggest a quid pro quo. AAI leaves Bedlam, and therefore the site must be closed. Hi Jon and Martin(dn!), If my post suggested a quid pro quo, it was unintentional, at least as far as Hayley and HWI are concerned. Just because All Angels left Bedlam, AAI did not have to close but it became impractical to keep it going. Bedlam were our only source of first-hand, reliable information about All Angels. That is not the case with Hayley. We have several other contacts who, I am sure, would relay information if necessary until we established a good relationship with any future manager. I should also add that I agree with Grant here in that I see no reason to believe she would ever leave them anyway. Yes, Hayley and Bedlam are like a "family". Steve Abbott has often referred to us (HWI) as a "part of the family". Even Jill once said when referring to Odyssey as "The Incredible Journey" that we (HWI) were "part of that journey". The key factor that led to the closure of AAI was the apparent lack of interest in the site. Within weeks of it launching, we received over 400 visitors in a day. Now, we are lucky if we get more than about 20. Several of those are either members of the AAI Management Team or the families of the girls. Visitor numbers have been poor for well over a year which was almost certainly because the girls had disappeared off the radar (Bedlam's words) for so long that people gave up looking. We continued up to now in the hope that things would improve but, when our only means of contact was severed, there seemed little point in spending further time, money and effort in maintaining a site that hardly anybody ever looked at. I don't think anyone would argue that Hayley is far better known and has a much larger fanbase than All Angels. HWI's site stats and the level of forum activity seem to confirm that. Consequently, there is absolutely no reason to doubt that HWI will continue even if she should ever part with Bedlam... which she almost certainly won't. Incidentally, I recently made this forum ad-free. Doesn't that indicate some level of my commitment to our continued existance? Roger

Hi Roger,
Thanks for the clarification. I never seriously doubted that that was the case, but it is good to see it confirmed.
