There are scores and scores of old videos on HWI that I cannot view due to the restrictions of my browser. I would like to see every video we have given a place on YouTube where everyone can watch them. We have the channel there -- let's use it to its fullest!

I agree and second the idea.

Hi guys,
We decided to post a small selection of the best Hayley videos we have, the best both in performance and technical quality. We shall continue occasionally to add new ones but we certainly don't intend to duplicate all HWI videos on YouTube, irrespective of the quality. There are serious time constraints too (these things can take a lot of time to produce and upload).
Regarding technical quality, we do not have original master files for most of the early videos and because of the limitations in home video technology and Internet bandwidth in the early days, the videos are already of poor technical quality by present day standards. Converting them to Youtube's video format would make the quality even worse. But if we feel it can be done for the odd one or two of the best ones, we may do so at some future date.
Why can't you view them Steve? Could you, if you chose to do so, install a Windows Media compatible browser or Media Player?
Or are none available for your operating system, not even as add-ons and/or downloadable codecs?
Cheers, Dave

Hi Technical guys.
I think this is the right thread to say I have just noticed the permanent links at the bottom of the 50 latest posts to the main site and Youtube vids.
Good thinking. Thank you.
Peter S.
PS: By the by, any news for 2010 schedules? I notice no provision as yet.
