Tony and John recently had a chance to speak with an 18 year old who’s spent most of her life in Christchurch in NZ, and has just released her second album onto the world market.

Hayley Westernra’s first album was the biggest selling New Zealand album of all time in her homeland, and her achievements to date are quite amazing, having toured as a 15 year old and duetted with the likes of Bocelli and Carreras.

Classical hymns and arias probably aren’t the genre you would imagine would appeal to an 18 year old young lady, and as she explained it certainly wasn’t the influence of her family that steered her in this direction.
