Hi everyone
I see that the issue regarding the use of foreign language lyrics and song titles has been resolved, which leads me to compose this post.
In this world we tend to be quick to complain when things go wrong, but not so quick to give thanks when things are going right.
So I hope I'm not being presumptuous, but on behalf of all of us here, I would like to say a big "Thank you" to all the staff members at HWI who work steadfastly behind the scenes, without remuneration, for all our enjoyment. Where would we be without them? They keep the site up and running, ensuring we are a friendly community, even addressing issues such as the aforementioned foreign language lyrics problem quickly, quietly and without fuss.
So without further ado:
Roger, Dave, Stephany, Richard, Joe, Steve & Stuart H, Belinda & Caitlin
take a bow, and here's a very big
THANK YOU!
from all we Hayley fans, for all you do for us: it is noticed, and it is appreciated.
Many, many thanks
Colin

Ah Colin you are one step ahead of me in saying thank you! With the ban concerning lyrics and titles lifted, we no longer need to waste time to think about how to express things deliberately in English. The silly thread which I started a few days is now really superfluous, and I'm glad to say it is redundant now. My gratitude goes to the HWI staff. Tin

Hi Colin and everyone
I wholeheartedly agree!
I think know I would be totally lost without the forum and the very many friends I have made because of it.
Well done guys and gals, you do an amazing job!
Best wishes Grant

The forum is like being down the pub with your mates, A lot of familiar faces, sometimes serious, sometimes trivial, always entertaining.. and someone to keep me in check when I get out of hand And you don't have to walk home in the dark afterwards ! Thanks folks !....All of you

I would like to add my thanks too. This is a wonderful forum, and I don't think there is anything else quite like it anywhere. It is wonderful to be able to interact with all the lovely people who support Hayley, and our lives would be poorerwithout it. Then there is the wonderful mine of information about Hayley that probably doesn't exist anywhere else.... It does take constant effort to keep it all running smoothly, so thank you to all the staff members for making it happen.
Martin

Thank you HWI Staff! In the past 11 months I have been on HWI I have learnt so much about Hayley and I would certainly do it again. HWI is certainly one of the best forums I have ever heard about and every Hayley fan should be here. Why is HWI so great? Because of the wonderful staff! Thank you all!

P.S. Why don't you guys create a testimonials page on HWI with these showing reasons why people should join HWI?

P.S. Why don't you guys create a testimonials page on HWI with these showing reasons why people should join HWI? Better if we could ask Hayley to do a promo like she did for UNICEF! (That would be putting the cart before the horse though... i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif)By the way, I think the objective of this thread has evolved from thanking HWI staff for clarifying the English-foreign language issue to thanking them universally for everything they've done for us! That's quite heartwarming.

Hello guys.
I have had it in the back of my mind to listen to the KITC-FM interview when I could give it the time it deserved and well deserving it was indeed too when I found that time this morning.
Because my interaction is of the moment I usually only use the forum. Consequently, I thought I would take a wander round the web site, thinking (or trying to), in the way a newcomer might.
Looking with new eyes I realise what is so usually ignored by me, as a long-term regular, and once more appreciated the tremendous effort that goes on all the time behind the scenes. I won't mention people by names as I am sure to forget someone but they are there under the management team. That in itself is a reassurance that the personnel responsible are up front in their involvement.
Also, while knowing it in the bits acquired as time goes on, as time goes on memories tend to get juxtaposed and jumbled, so it was good to read the site's development history and realise how uniquely fortunate we were to find, through just gathering the people we do, people uniquely placed at the right time to be able to step in at moments of crucial changes.
Diverse backgrounds in natural harmony to a common cause: Hayley Westenra. It's the girl who brings the right people and the right people love the girl!
Thank you guys for all your hard work. Thank you Hayley for being the girl you are, its that which brings us here.
Peter S.
