Thanks for the link, Sal. Although I have the NZ version of Odyssey, this was the first time I had heard Hayley's recorded version and it sounds wonderful. Can't wait for the UK release. Roger

Well this next one isn't an actual request but it still could be fan power... Richard? Hayley got more Radio 2 airplay, this time on the Ed Stewart show last Sunday. Wow, this is a big show! He played "What You Never Know" (new version!!!) then mentioned a UK release date of 3rd October and the website gives a catalogue number for the single DECCA=475 7180. He even managed to make a connection between Hayley and England winning The Ashes i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif from the Australian cricket team - one of the umpires is from New Zealand Anyway, here it is - on the BBC website for the rest of this week (51 minutes into the show)

I've just noticed that Hayley singing "O Mio Babbino Caro" was played on the Ed Stuart Show last Sunday evening, 15th January 2006. Hayley on a big Radio 2 show is not exactly an everyday event, so I thought I'd mention it ! Youcan listen to it here (track 7, 23 minutes into the show) for another couple of days and guess who requested it? It was someone by the name of "Raymond". Come on Raymond, own up... was it you? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Dave

So this has been a long time. This shows that Hayley is very important that an old request will become true. Raymond

Thanks Dave, and Congratulations Raymond! It was great to hear Hayley sing a classical piece on Radio 2, and didn't she sound so much better than the singers immediately before and after her?!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifFanpower strikes again! Richard

Brilliant, Raymond. I'm sure Hayley would be very grateful. Have a flag! Best wishes, Roger
