Hi all, Just last week, I discovered a site where a Dutch commercial broadcast station weekly publishes a 3 hour video consisting of "scenic music" (classical pieces to the background of city- and landscapes), hymns and religious music, arias, duets and documentaries about classical performers. The site was apparently launched in early April, and on perusing the videos (oldest first), the seconde video provided a one hour Rolando Villazon performance with some insight into what moves him. In coming weeks, I will gradually work my way through all the other videos (which should take some time), because I suspect there may be other gems hiding in this treasure trove. Here is the link to the Rolando Villazon video, titled One Night In Berlin: www.classicalrelatedperformances.com/rv/onenightinberlin.wmvPlease note this video is 225 MB, so, unless you have a fast connection, don't try to play it by streaming. Try downloading it if you are interested in the video, and use a download manager if you are encountering problems. A very good manager is Orbit (freeware) and a good backup is Gigaget (freeware). Sorry, I got two singers mixed up, Rolando Villazon and Juan Diego Florez .... The video concerns Rolando Villazon of course, not Juan Diego Florez. Blame it on the time of the night I posted it (half past 3 local time). Unfortunately, I am not now able to edit my original post . I wanted to change the title. Can anyone of the staff do the changing on my behalf ? Gerrit

Many thanks, Dave . Now newcomers won't know anymore what went on - so I explain: I initially called this thread Juan Diego Florez - One Night In Berlin - cheers! Gerrit
