Fiona said on stage at Dunstable last night that she hoped to perform at Alfie's Bar in Luton in the future. Fiona told Gini that they would be going to Alfie's after the concert (I presumed that this meant sometime in the future).
I had an e-mail reply back from Ian this morning saying that they had actually gone to Alfie's after the concert and would be playing there 'impromptu' sometime in the future.

New Zealand virtuoso violinist and composer Fiona Pears started performing as a soloist with orchestras at the age of twelve. Now based in London , she has forged a career as an international soloist and recording artist which has seen her perform at many concert halls around the world as well as recording for EMI and Universal records releases.
A fiery melting pot of flavours: Latin, Jazz, Celtic and classical, as well as some hot traditional Gypsy favourites. Fiona is an electrifying and visual performer who thrills audiences wherever she plays.
During 2008 Fiona has toured the US , Ireland and Jersey as well as performing at festivals and concert halls around England and Scotland .
She has also recorded her forth CD, “Fire and Light,” which features the City of Prague Philharmonic as well as top Christchurch musicians Misha Marks, Greg Donaldson, Pete Fleming and London pianist/producer Ian Tilley. “Fire and Light,” features many of Fiona's latest compositions and orchestral arrangements.
Fiona is back in New Zealand for several months to release her new CD and will be embarking on a New Zealand tour with her band.
