A mixture of a question and a suggestion. I have 'lost' a couple of post as my log in time has run out, so even although the top banners are normal for a member, when I hit the post message tab the post is lost. Is it possible to have the amount of time left of your 'login' displayed somewhere, or a 'popup' to warn you that you are about to lose your logged on status Graham

Hi Graham,
Sorry, that is not an option. However, you may choose the length of time you wish to remain logged in, one of the options being "forever". Provided you don't delete your cookies, you should automatically be logged in as soon as you visit the forum and the problem you have experienced should not recur.

Hi Graham & Roger, If I may just add something which I've found useful quite a few times: If you get to the stage of your post being all ready & trying to post finds you suddenly logged off, you can rescue your post by pressing the go back arrow whereby your post will reappear as you composed it. Then you simply select it all & paste it onto notepad....you don't even have to necessarily save it....better tho. Now you can log on, find where you were going to post & paste it in..... It works, Graeme

Hi Roger, Graeme, Richard, Thanks for the info and tips. I might try the log on 'forever' when I am back home regularly. However I am away at the 'Open Golf' from this Saturday and then 'down South' for Hayley et al at Broadlands and then Hayley at Wimbledon ( No not the tennis she is a bit late for that i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif ) followed by the Ladies open Golf at Sunningdale ! I had better go away and start packing Graham p.s . Provided you don't delete your cookies, Thats OK Roger I normally eat them
