Belinda, I'm spellbound! Indeed I am MOST interested to see that picture- just to state the obvious... I don't have, 'Walking in the Air'... but would love to own one! I have a few surprise pictures which I'll post up for you too- I think you'll like them... Roger, did you have razor blades for breakfast this morning? (re: your sharp witty comment!) Heh! Heh! Hi Belinda, Somehow I don't think she'll stay away that long. For your sake, I hope I'm right. BTW. How come your signature is longer than your posts?! Roger

Hi there Belinda, I'm SO green with envy... I would just LOVE to see Hayley in concert in NZ, esp. in Christchurch! Make sure you get as much coverage as poss for us eh? i.e. Concert Review, photos... (or maybe even some video footage afterwards?!) Please send Hayley my love from Edinburgh... If you mention, "young Andy from Edinburgh, who Jill thought looked a bit like a German guy, who once showed up at a Hayley concert in a cream coloured suit" she should remember me! Heh! Heh! Indeed, It's SO sad about the possibility of Hayley disappearing without any more concerts for so long... I thought you might like to see some of my Hayley photos (to cheer you up, meantime...) Here are a couple from Hayley's 18th... I bought these prints (which are approx 4 times bigger!) from a professional photographer. As you will know, the party didn't actually take place on Hayley's birthday, but on the following evening, i.e. Monday 11th April, 2005. I heard Jane Jones (Classic FM) announcing that morning that she was going, as an invited guest! Here are some more... The first picture was taken in Germany, Nov 2004. Unfortunately the photographer who took the second picture, couldn't confirm where it was taken (humph! ), but I believe it was during 2005. I bought these prints (which are 12"x 8") from 2 separate professional photograhers. I hope everybody likes these as much as I do  May they bring a smile to your Sunday afternoon/ Monday morning... Andrew

The "unknown" photo (quoted above) was taken at the Classical BRIT Awards at the Royal Albert Hall on 25th May 2005. Although Hayley did not take part in the Awards and did not have a nomination, she was in the audience as a "celebrity" and sat at a table with Costa Pilavach, President of Decca Records. I was there in the audience (not at a table unfortunately, LOL) and... Hayley was shown twice in the TV broadcast of the event. I recognised the picture immediately from Hayley's beautiful dress, her hairstyle and the background in the photograph. Cheers, Dave

Well done Dave and Richard! I wondered if that was the Royal Albert Hall... wasn't 100% sure though. If only there had been a prize on offer for the 1st to identify the mystery location... At least you have the pleasure of knowing that you have satisfied my curiosity (for sure!) Richard, that must have been a fantastic event to have attended! If I remember correctly (from the TV broadcast), Aled Jones was also sitting at Hayley's table. Is that correct? Dave, too slow! You need the reflexes of a cobra in this game.. Heh! Heh! Roger, sorry to hear that Aled may no longer be with Classic FM. He's been involved in so much, considering he's a family man now. He even cancelled the Edinburgh show on his last Tour, due to 'other commitments'. Does anyone have any knowledge of an electronic link to a recording of the Classical Brits 2005 anywhere? Incidentally, I have poor recordings of the the 2003 and 2004 Classical Brits on video tape- (if they had been good recordings, Hayley would have won on both! LOL) it would be useful to know if there are any electronic links for these too! Thanks guys Andrew

Hi Andrew, I am not aware that the 2005 Classical Brits is available anywhere. However, we do have Hayley and Aled's duet of 'Pokarekare Ana' from the 2003 awards HEREOnce on that page, it is the eighth link down. I can't locate her performance in the 2004 event at the moment but I seem to think it is available somewhere. Enjoy! Roger

Andrew, tut tut! You got me and Richard mixed up - it was he who was a minute too slow, LOL. It was me who was there, too Aled was sat not far away from Hayley but I don't think they were at the same table, just in the same area not far from the teleprompter screen. I have the Pokarekare recording from the 2004 Classical BRITS (which I also attended i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif ) in fact I've just played it ... lovely! I'm 90% certain it was uploaded to HWI.com or hwi.net as otherwise I wouldn't have bothered converting it to 250 kbps Windows Media, I've also got at full quality on a backup DVD somewhere. If it doesn't turn up at HWI sometime this evening, I will upload it again to my personal webspace for your edification and delight Cheers, Dave

Hi Roger,
Excellent! Many thanks for that... I remember seeing this some time ago ('somewhere, somehow!') I like the bit where Aled takes the hand of the rather (then) slightly timid looking Hayley...

Dave, Sorry about that! I was too busy looking at the photos of Hayley. I promise to be more vigilant from now on... Wow, indeed, that would be fantastic if you could arrange that upload for us! P.S. Sorry about the specks of dust on the photos... I did dust the scanner first with a duster, but may have to have another go with the aid of a little 'Mr Muscle' glass polish or the like. The scanner I used is rather archaic and seems to attract an awful lot of static! (I don't live in a dusty house, or 'dust round things' either... ATISHOOO!!!) The prints I have are seriously good, honest! I wasn't ripped off... I may have another go at scanning the photos once I have carried out an overhaul on the scanner (there may a little dust on the underside of the glass). Should I rinse it in the bath? img.photobucket.com/albums/v645/KeithS/angry.gif[/img] Andrew

Hi Andrew, are you sure that the first photo was made in Germany in 2004? Hayley's concerts were only in - Berlin, Passionskirche (church) 13. Oct. - Hamburg, St. Johannis (church) 15. Oct - Munich, Night Club Bar - Bayerischer Hof 12. Oct. Maybe in Munich she used a dress, in Berlin not, Jeans only. In the background you can see, is written something like SCHII SAAL or SCHIL SAAL - I believe, that means SCHILLER SAAL (Schiller Hall). So it could be, this photo was made in a Hotel? Do you know where this photo was made exactly??? Many thanks in adv. if you can give us an answer about this location. Greetings, Lothar
