I wonder if I should have posted this in the general André Rieu thread.
Somehow, I did not think so ....
Here is why:
Earlier this year I started my own YouTube Channel: nl.youtube.com/user/ClassicalRelated
I have uploaded 54 videos up till now.
Amazingly, the two most popular videos (by miles!) on my channel have been the Ku-Ku-Jodel by Oesch Die Dritten and Ode To Maastricht by André Rieu and Benny Neyman (note that André Rieu hails from Maastricht).
I have been informed that Benny Neyman has passed away earlier this year, because of an incurable illness, and this took place not long after the recording of the Ode to Maastricht.

It would be nice if at least for the time being it could replace the Ku-Ku-Jodel as number one (but that requires quite a number of extra views).
