Further to the recommendations for eateries etc in Glasgow, one warning, especially for single males. After the show, avoid wandering along Argyle Street. One evening, I left a Katherine Jenkins concert and was wandering back towards Queen Street station from the Clyde Auditorium when I was accosted by a 'lady of the night'. I must admit she had such a strong Glaswegian accent that I asked her to repeat what she had said before I realised what she was there for (she was dressed very conservatively).

I can't make Glasgow Keith but if I could I'd know where to go if I felt lonely !! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif As a rule I prefer "Music of the Night" to "Ladies of the night!"

4 days to go I also asked if she knew what she would be singing in Glasgow and she said she didn't but would be deciding this week. Did you provide any ideas Grant? Dean

[/quote] No I didn't - perhaps I should have given it some thought before I asked the question. Difficult to think clearly when gazing into such a beautiful face i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

Yes, I also suffer with that problem too, but I'm sure you were still in awe of Hayley's stunning appearance & smile last thursday (I'm only sorry I wasn't there, I'll have to make an effort next year if Hayley get nominated again!). Not long now...... Roll on Satur Hayley Day Dean

I doesn't really matter because she can sing anything and turn it into a melody of sure grace. However, I would especially love to hear her sing Amazing Grace, Shenadoah, Let Me Lie, Abide With Me, Scarborough Fair in person, and I'm sure if anything unique pops up it'll be as good as ever.

Glasgow is a city of all seasons. That is, in a single day, it will go from monsoons to searing heat, choking humidity and then snow. Weather forecasts are just are a lie! I recommend a brolly or coat regardless of the weather forecast.
