Hello everyone, Govan Songsters have announced that they will be in concert with Hayley Westenra and the Black Band under Principal Conductor and Musical Director, Nicholas J. Childs. The concert will be held in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 23rd of May 2009. Tickets will be available from the Ticket Office at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall from the beginning of 2009. Any confirmation from Bedlam, Roger? Thanks in advance! Stephany

Hi Grant,
Where did you get next years schedule? If Hayley is in the UK next year that means she won't be in the US. Know where I could get a cheap room to rent near London? By the way the US dollar is beginning to get a little traction against the Euro and the Pound. Perhaps I can spend a month or so in the UK next year.

Hi Larry.
We don't have 'next year's schedule' as you put it, for Hayley. Simply, a group have published details of one performance in Glasgow in May, and this has yet to be confirmed by Bedlam.
Anything in from Bedlam yet Roger?
For information regarding a "Westenra of Christchurch" tartan tie, you should send Andrew a PM.
Best wishes Grant

Hi Dean,
Not yet but having seen the previous post (thanks Colin), I have asked again. As is it Sunday, I am not really expecting a reply tonight although it is not impossible. As soon as I hear anything, I will post accordingly.

Best Wishes, Graham Not only a Saturday Graham but also a bank holiday weekend! Indeed tickets are already on sale at £25 each and one keen fan (HWI?) has already bought centre front row. Note that Hayley is a guest at this fundraising concert for the Salvation Army which also features the famous Black Dyke Band. Martin I unmoderated this post. Richard

Hi Martin, Why do you need to **? Where I come from originally (the fens) a dike (note the spelling) is a drainage channel. In Holland (Joyce will correct me when she gets home) it is a bank of earth that protects against flooding. Martin Oh I see. It is proboards that objects to that word. Well, ignorance is bliss I suppose. Objection overruled! Richard
