Hi guys,
Results of my own Advanced Level Exams have been released yesterday (not disastrous but sigh...), which kind of prompted me to think about what subjects Hayley did when she was preparing for her GSCEs.
She has, in her book, mentioned that she did well in maths and science, which suggested that she belonged to the science stream (is that so?) in GCSE. What I wonder is, to be exact, which subjects did Hayley do?
Cheers, Tin

Tin, all I know is that, in Hayley's case, GCSE can only mean Great Crossover Singer Excels! ... or Gorgeous Classical Songstress Entertains! ... or "Greatest" Compilation Someday Expected! ... or Glorious Christchurcher's Successful Emergence. You get the idea!

Hello Tin, Hayley actually sat several GCSE exams in both New Zealand and Britain. When she was in London in 2004, she had to read the novel 'Wuthering Heights', and she sat her GCSE's in English and Maths. For those who don't know, GCSE stands for General Certificate of Secondary Education, an exam taken by students in most of the UK aged 14 to 16. An rough American equivalent would be an important test to get into high school. Here's a mention of Hayley and her GCSE coursework from an article on IcBirmingham: You can also read this article in its entirety here... icbirmingham.icnetwork.co.uk/0800whatson/0200music/2004/11/12/testing-time-for-prodigy-50002-14865800/

. "Besides, maths really helps to get my brain in gear." What a very shrewd observation from a 17 year old Hayley Graham

Hello Tin and everybody.
I think it's perfectly acceptable to discuss the subjects Hayley took in her GCSEs, but her grades are none of our business.
