If you can suggest a more reliable alternative than 'confirmation from Bedlam', I should be very pleased to know what it is. Hi Roger, I know you do all you can Roger and my post was in no way aimed at you. I just looked up 'confirmed' in my Dictionary ...... Checked and found to be true ..... It looks like the two concerts mentioned never reached that stage Presumably they were together with others that were and all were 'released' together. Would it be sensible to suggest to Bedlam that a label of 'Provisionally' arranged in these cases may be better and then we know where we are. To give them the title of 'Confirmed' is where the problem lies. Yes I accept that a Confirmed concert can still be canceled ( e.g If unfortunately there was a fire that damaged a venue)..... So nothing is every DEFINITE, but Confirmed appears now to be to 'strong' a word in some cases Graham

Hi Graham, I cannot comment on that but it is possible that you are right. Suggesting that Bedlam use the word "provisional" where appropriate would not have eliminated the problem on this occasion. I heard independently from Steve, Erica and Nicola that all 17 events were confirmed - including Durham. Somewhere along the way, there appears to have been a misunderstanding - possibly between Bedlam and the promotors (but I don't know that for sure). But as far as Bedlam are concerned, it was confirmed at the time they passed the schedule to me and not merely provisional. Bedlam have advised this afternoon that this event will NOT be going ahead. No reason was given.Roger
