I've heard this song once in the exact link before; a friend sent the URL to me.
I'm not quite sure but it sounds like she's not singing 'modern' English? Or is it just her accent that intrigues me?

You are right, Tin. It is not an English accent at all - it is Scottish. My southern ears do not allow me to pinpoint the region more accurately than that. Maybe Andrew can help?
Very nice version of Auld Lang Syne. For my money, that's how it *should* be sung.
