Hi everyone I have just read Mary's review on Will's forum and according to her, he sang 'So Far Away' and 'Don't dream it's over'. You are all very lucky because so far I have never heard Will sing 'So Far Away'. This song reminds him of New Zealand, his home, when he's on the other side of the world. I guess being surrounded by other Kiwis like Hayley and Dame Malvina Major pushed him to perform it. I'm sad to hear that he didn't duet with Hayley but I'm sure there will be plenty of other opportunities. Steve, love the picture of Hayley shopping by the way! If you have more pics of Will, you know that I'm interested...haha. Stephany

Thanks Drew, along with Pokarekare Ana, these two are of excellent quality, and having watched you take them, just what I'd hoped for! There was another video camera on the balcony, I sincerely hope that he was not distracting Hayley. Well if anyone did, it certainly wasn't you... well done. Cheers, Dave

Hi All, Was super thrilled with the comment from Dame Malvina re Hayley could have sung the lot with no mike. Drew, your wmvs are marvellous.....perfect....audio & video. I'm busting for Barcarolle now. What a great concert.....wonder if Dame M & Hayley & Will might come up with something in NZ??? (still handier for us than UK) A summer classics concert perhaps? One can dream a dream, Graeme

Steve H, I've been around a long time and have seen thousands (by now) of photos of Hayley, but I have to say I was stunned beyond all words by your "Hayley in conversation". This is the most striking picture I have ever seen of her. Just like her voice, it stopped me in my tracks! Unbelievably well done!

That's it for tonight, but to finish a few candid photo's Hayley in conversation Hi Steve Mac and Graeme, I was about to write exactly the same thing myself about that photo and indeed, I had intended to do something I've never done before (and which we normally discourage): repost the photo at full size. But you beat me to it Graeme! This is one of the finest photos of Hayley that I've ever witnessed and quite possibly, the very best bar none. It's absolutely stunning so well done Steve Hayter, I don't know how you do it! And I say this as a guy who isn't usually too keen on close-up shots like this, but oh, my goodness... what a photo! Cheers, Dave

Thanks for the photos and videos! I enjoyed Pokarekare Ana, but I was very disappointed that she changed the end of the 'vocalise' part in the middle of the song. That's the most beautiful part of that song; that note is so perfectly pure! I can't believe that it's because she can't hit those notes anymore, so why would she change it? For this reason, I would not say that this was the best she's ever sung it. It was still beautiful, though. It was nice to see the "real" Hayley, before she did her makeup and hair. I love the way she styles her hair for concerts, although she overdid it a little in D.C. These are some of the nicest pictures of Hayley in her orange dress! BTW, it's not even remotely pink. Will Martin is a great singer (not as incredible as Josh), but he sure is awful sweaty. And he reminds me of the mouse in the animated movie "Flushed Away". So does the director of Celtic Woman. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

I would have loved to hear the other artists too, Dame Malvina, Will and the choir. Those duets with Hayley must have been priceless. Memories of shows like that last forever. And it hurts hat I couldn't be there. Martin Patience Martin.

Many thanks to all who were so kindly to share their memories - especially Steve for the pictures and Drew for the videos.

Fantastic videos Drew, great report Grant, and the best photographs ever Steve! I'm still coming back down to earth after such a wonderful concert, so I've only just realised I didn't comment on the Christchurch Cathedral Choir's performance. I probably forgot it was really their show. I thought they were excellent, and their programme was varied and entertaining, as you could see from Roger's scans. They sang an extra song at the end, John Rutter's 'The Lord Bless You And Keep You', which was the perfect ending to one of the best concerts I've ever attended. I must add my personal thanks to Hayley, Dame Malvina, Will and the Christchurch Cathedral Choir for a truly memorable and uplifting experience. Richard
