If you want to download it, Realplayer invites you to do so after playing it. It saves it to the Realplayer library, which is usually under My Documents\My Videos\Realplayer downloads on a Windows PC.
You can move the file elsewhere if you wish afterwards

Hi Grant,

Click on the link in Richard's post above.

Then run your mouse cursor over the video picture.

Click on the tab that appears in the top right-hand corner of the picture.

A pop-up will appear, in which you can watch the progress of the download.

Just wait until the download finishes.

I made the clip into a regular downloadable file (not a streamer) so it now downloads to your PC & plays directly with Real Player.
Its pretty good actually & well worth keeping !!!

HI Grant,

In Real Player, go to 'Tools' - 'Preferences' - 'Download & Recording'.

Then put a tick in the box opposite 'Enable Web Downloading and Recording'.

After that the download tab/icon should appear in the top right-hand corner,

when you run the mouse cursor over the picture.

If you really dislike Real Player, click Grant instead.

Thanks for the .wmv !!!!
I tried to convert the .rm to .wmv but an error message came up so I left
it as a .rm which plays fine with real player.

In 'Preferences' I get a menu on the left hand side headed 'General' but no reference to 'Download & Recording'

Westenra empowers Ghanaian girls

Good cause: Christchurch opera singer Hayley Westenra leads girls to school as part of a United Nations Children's Fund project in Ghana.

Hayley Westenra is a face well-known in northern Ghana.

The Christchurch-born opera singer has just finished her second week-long mission in the country, where her fund-raising efforts on behalf of the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) will eventually have 6000 bicycles rolling children to school each day.

When she returned to a village in northern Ghana to see the impact some of the bicycles had made, she was presented with a traditional smock by the local chief.

"She's built up a relationship and, of course, she went to visit some of the chiefs and they remembered her," Westenra's father Gerald, who joined her on the trip, said.

The bicycles are increasing school attendance rates and boosting the self-confidence of local girls, Unicef says.

Westenra, 21, is also campaigning to rid Ghana of the parasite Guinea worm, which has a disproportionate impact on children under age of 16.

"We went to one community where they were getting water out of this muddy lake and the kids were using a donkey and cart and drums, basically, to get their drinking water out," Gerald Westenra said.

Children are more likely to play in or drink from infected water sources.

Unicef says significant progress has been made to cut the 180,000 reported cases of Guinea worm in 1989 to a small fraction of that today.

Gerald Westenra said he was hugely proud of his daughter's efforts.

"It's very rewarding when you go there and see the difference that she's actually physically making."

"It's one thing to be sort of handing money to an aid organisation, and you never know where it's going. But here in this project, you know exactly where it's going."

Hayley Westenra is about to embark on a 20-date tour of the United Kingdom. She will record a second Japanese language album and perform on a Canadian television show before coming home for a month's holiday over Christmas.

I received an email from David Youngmeyer a few minutes ago. He apologises that there were not more photographs but says that "the system fell down due to poor internet facilitiesin Ghana". He then gave links to two press reports, both of which I have already posted! Oh well!
